| Sparrow is a thief and a bad influence Sparrow is stealing carrots from my lilac rex rabbit, Nard Dog. Venus (tri-colored Chihuahua) is learning bad habits from Sparrow. Pictures are below. Last edited by qtyorkies; 01-20-2012 at 12:04 PM. |

| I love that! ChiChi does the same thing when Jimmy has his mouthful of food on the floor in front of him. Sneaky paw action.

| Wow! And I have tried giving Roxie carrots and she just turns her nose up at them. Hmmm! Maybe if I got a rabbit she would be more interested in them...LOL! |

| The odd thing is that all of my dogs, including the deceased ones, have been huge carrot fans. I don't know why. They even eat lettuce, cucumbers, apples, and other things if I accidentally drop them on the floor. My Chihuahua and Cairn Terrier (RIP) used to sneak into my vegetable garden when I wasn't looking and eat tomatoes, cucumbers, melons, peaches, and plums. I had to be real careful that they didn't go grocery shopping in the garden. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | How precious!! Who got the carrot in the 2nd picture? It looks like the rabbit was protecting his carrott and daring Sparrow to try and get it!!

| Sparrow got the carrot. Venus merely learned how to steal from the poor caged bunny. Nard Dog was grunting at the two little dogs. He grunts like a pig when he doesn't like something. He's super gentle so I doubt he would ever bite unless he was being bitten himself. He can probably run faster than either of the dogs with his powerful back legs. I'm still cautious about letting Nard Dog out with the dogs because Sparrow and my new mini poodle, Meadow, are new to our house and they are still interested in him. Venus ignores him. |
