| Finally pics of Babnina and Kayla Had to fight with my computer, but i can finally share some pics of my girls. I have to get some better ones of Hope... But here are my girls. Also a pic of my potty training pen... The girls love to cuddle up on my fluffy blanket and a few nights already I've fallen asleep on the couch watching a movie and they sleep either with me on the couch, or on the left over blanket on the floor. It's so cute! This pen is the 6 week and up set up. Before 6 weeks, the paper area is divided into paper and bed. So the pups had to climb straight from their bed into the paper. They immediately went potty after climbing out of bed. So the scent stays there. Bedding and the play area had to be kept VERY clean. So once a day (more when necessary) the pups were wiped with puppy wipes. the play area was cleaned with lysol and the bedding was changed. At 6 weeks, the pups don't want to potty near their bed so the bed gets moved and the pen opened up a bit. Now my girls come and go when I'm supervising them and are fairly consistent with going on the paper. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

| Yes I have the mother. Her name is Hope. I have pics on another computer, but not this one, and all the times I've tried taking a good pic of her I get a blur.. *LOL* She doesn't like to sit still. These two are the pups that we are keeping.

| Oh and they are 7 weeks now, 8 on Thursday. Still young babies, but at 6 weeks is when I switched the pen around so the potty area is opposite of the bed area. I also made a "door" that I can open when I let them out to play.

| They do grow up too quick! Seems like just last week I was rushing home to from work b/c Hope was having her pups! and now they are pushing 8 weeks! My daughter named Kayla as that's "her" pup. I ride with a girl named Kayla and my 5 year old picked up the name and it's stuck. She has a couple toys with that name as well... *LOL* Bambi or "Bambina Bella" took a while longer to get her name... I'm picky and was thinking that her mom's name is Hope and I've had a Faith in the past, so wanted something along those lines but "Love" sounds silly to me as a name so was playing with a English to Italian translator and came up with Beautiful Baby Girl instead. I have more and better pics, but the files are too big and not quite sure how to fix that...

I really like your pen. I like the vertical bars on it. It looks like that would make it harder for them to escape when they are big enough to do that. Have you found that to be true? Alot of the pens I have seen have the horizontal and vertical grates which make me think of a ladder for these little ones . Where did you get yours? very good idea about wiping them off each time. Thats why I love yorkie talk, I don't think that ever dawned on me but I could see how that would help with potty training. I can't wait until I can get a baby but until then I will keep learning great tips. Thanks so much!! | |
