| Thanks again to all for the replies and suggestions. We do have a phrase for Toby and it is working more and more each time. I've noticed when it is wet outside because of the rain----he refuses to go potty outside! He runs back to the door. He is so funny and adorable! Right now I am trying to find him a food he will like and eat on his own without me forcing him to. Sometimes he won't eat til I am home but I have to beg him to eat and sometimes even hand feed him. Seems he likes my cat's food and everyone else's food but not his! Hee hee. Well once again thanks for the comments and I will definitely be asking you guys for advice and suggestions. Hope you all had a nice Xmas and New Year! Hugs and kisses! |

Our Yorkie is 8 months as well....and he is pretty much trained except like you said when we do respond to his signs. That's our fault. He loves to go for walks but here in MI its pretty cold right now so we limit it to 1 a day.....more for me than for him I expect. Yorkies are a lot of work.....you are right...but they are also very sweet. Our little guy can be hardheaded as well. Some walks don't go as well as others. LOL Enjoy your little guy. | |

| I have a new log in name.....it used to be pionergal......now is vhgirl68. I have had trouble signing into this site a lot and hope it's fixed now. My little guy is really growing up too.......he is hardheaded as well but can also be so sweet. He wants to be right by us all the time.....he is our shadow. When my hubby comes home it's his turn LOL. Jasper (my little guy) is doing very well with housetraining.....and getting better on the leash. So we are gaining I think. I didn't remember dogs being this much work though.......but I think he is worth it. I just do not know how to put a picture of my little guy on here yet......HELP |
