Personally, I wouldn't use a collar. But that's just me. I'm paranoid that it may get caught, and my precious yorkie may get hanged. Sorry, if that's too graphic. I'm just super-paranoid like that. | |

are 2 years old now and I have never put a collar on them, I'm paranoid about them getting hurt too . I bought lots of collars because I'm thinking that if they ever get lost, all the info. to bring them back to me would be in the tags...but I haven't the courage to put the collars on Both thoughts are equally scary for me, the hurting themselves and them getting lost, so I keep looking for the perfect collar for their sensitive necks

| My Hutch was 16 years old when he passed away in December. He suffered from a collapsing trachea for many years because we used a collar in his early days. We switched to a harness when we walked him, but by then the damage was done. I will not put a collar on my new puppy Bailee. Have fun with Brady. He is a real cutie!!

| Congrats! He's delicious! Kiss up that puppy belly!!! He looks like he's going to be one delightfully spoiled pup!! :-) Noticed the collar. My 2 cents: depending on his personality & where you live weigh the risks/benefits of wearing one. My 2 Scotties would run away if you blinked while they were outside(before they were about 3) but Kasha will stay within 2 feet of me at all times she has no desire to go where I am not. So my current Scottie, Frosty gets the collar & Kasha doesn't. I also live in an apartment where she would have to run down a hallway and out an elevator to escape. But when I move I'll most likely keep a collar on when we have people over just in case. Also, some pups are rougher than others so I'd also weigh in there. Hope that helps with that decision!

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I am sure she is just using the collar for his tags. I sent him home a harness so she would have one to walk him with. Looking forward to more pictures. I am loving all the updates and being able to be here for you. Bringing a pup home is alot of work but your going to be a great mom!
