| The Yorkshire Terrier breed is one of the hardest breeds to predict the look of the adult yorkie based on how it looks as a puppy. All puppies are so cute, and then really goes through (as you can see) a lot of changes to become the finally yorkie adult. Here are a few of my babies as they grew. Frist is Cha-Cha. She is not fully grown yet. First one I think she (we called her Rosie back then and then changed her name to Cha-Cha) was like 12 weeks old and then the second, recent, of her like 17 months. The third and fourth photos are my Cici. Last photo is her recent shot about 2 1/2 years old. Last edited by topknot; 03-20-2010 at 05:05 AM. |

| Here is my Gigi when she was: 1st - a pup 2nd - as a teenager - 7 months (I think) 3rd - when she became a finished champion (she finished in just 3 weekends of showing with an extra major). She had just turned 2. Last edited by topknot; 03-20-2010 at 05:12 AM. |

| Posting colors on the papers - is really not a good indications of what they will actually be as an adult, since color is listed when you register them as a pup. I usually mark them as blue and gold. So it is totally up to the breeder when the dog is a pup as to what they mark. Often some inexperienced breeders will mark black and tan on their papers since this is what color a typical yorkie looks as a pup. But remember they do go through color change as they grow and most often get lighter. Last edited by topknot; 03-20-2010 at 05:18 AM. |

| I think that is one of the things I love about Yorkies, they change so much and they all differ, I love seeing the changes!
