I think you need to put your foot down on this one......or conveniently miss the calls or emails of interested adoptees , but if worst comes to worse and only as a last resort, make sure he goes to a very close friend or a family member so that he is never far from "HOME "

Thanks Rose! I wish that he would change his mind, but I don't believe that will happen. We have such a full house and it makes it tough to plan any sort of outing or even a future vacation with our kiddos. We can't ever leave Livi behind for too long because she gets herself sooooooo upset! So, I think he is probably right about adding one more (although, I hate to admit it).

One of my mom's close friends was interested in him, but her and her husband have decided that they are not quite ready. They are retired and have a 14 year dog and also an older kitty and she said that they would probably wait until they no longer have them. I *think* they are enjoying how calm their home is...I don't blame them...I often wonder what "calm" is like.

Awww.....he is adorable. Looks so much like my Bear did when he was a pup. We had Mindy and went back to the breeder to get her registration papers. Mindy was 5 months at the time. When we got there she had her new litter from her other female and there was Bear. Oh my God...he was all I could think about after we left. He was snuggled up to my chest the whole time I was there and I fel like his Mommy. Had a really hard time leaving and the breeder said she would sell him to me for half price if I wanted him. I drove home and talked to hubby...he wasn't going for it but I made hiim come see him any ways. WELL.....guess who ended up being my boy and my little lover boy at that. "BEAR"....we kept his name because it suited him so much. He's a cuddle Bear for sure. Good luck trying to get hubby to keep him...you know if you pushed real hard he wouldn't be able to deny you one more puppy. lol

He is so spunky and SUPER funny.....he is now at the stage that you can't keep him still. He runs as fast as his little body can go, tossing his toys around and barking at me...all at the same time. I have tried and tried to talk my hubby into letting us keep him, but he's not budging because we already have a houseful of fur kids. Maybe he will change his mind, though....look at his face, how could he not?!

Thank you all!! I have been talking with my husband all weekend and he just doesn't think it's a good idea for us to add on more to our already full house. So, looks like I will have to say goodbye to S'mores afterall. I just hope that he is spoiled in his new home as much as he is here!
