| Your baby is precious and does look like a yorkie. They change so much as they grow...they sometimes don't look a thing like they did as a baby by the time they are one year old. Their coat colors change, too. She is beautiful! Glad you are here. Hope you enjoy it. Does your baby eat OK?

| Hello, Yes i have a really great vet, he is easy going explains what each needs and so on he wont let you leave if your still unclear of anything, I bring all my pets there, I have two cats both fixed male and female that we have had since they were 5 weeks and they are now 8 yrs, we have a female lab/cross fixed 3yr that we have had since she was 8 to 10 weeks old and we have a hamster that is 1 or 2 years he is my daughter. We did have fish my my cat got at him and ate half of him and left the other have for me. LOL All my pets are up to date with there shots and my vets gives me a record on when and what is needed at what time. He works with alot of farm animals like cows pig, horses, and small. She was picking the frist day we brought her home, So i thought maybe she was having a hard time with chewing so i added water to her food to soften it up but she still didn't eat much, she drank a hole lot and i even gave her milk so she got some kind of nutrition in her but this morning i went and got wet food and she still picked but ate it all through out the day. I only gave her two tbs one in the morning and now i just gave her some more and she is content and very playful so i know she is getting food now and i am happy. So far my cats have left her alone came up to her while she was sleeping and sniffed her and walked away so hopefully this turns out to be a wonderful fiendship between them all. My Lab was really good but i got scared because she started to bite the back of it's neck, i don't no if this was her way of saying i will adopt this pup or if she was well i don't really know anyways i put Bella back down and just sat there with Angel and she sniffed more and then walked away. | When she shivers i rap her in a blanket and bring her to my bed, Our house is warm but i guess not enough for her. She has been sleeping at the head of the bed (bed pushed to wall no gap for her to fall) between our pillows and i place one of my daughter dall blankets on her to stay warm, by the end of her nap she has wiggled her self out of that. But i am keeping an eye on her for that. I am really surprised that she hasn't pooped as much as my last dog that i had to give away because he was hurting and leaving gashes on Angel, He wasn't fixed yet but was very aggressive towards her not letting her eat wouldn't let her in the huge dog house, and seeing i only just got him because a friend no longer could keep him i took him off her hands well i found a loving family that had no other animals that could spend lots of time with him. Well to the point of this Bear other dog would eat so fast and he pooped like 6 times a day and now Bella has only had two poops today. I was telling my hubby see this i can clean up no problem 6 times a day tends to get tire some. Ok i am done babling HEHEHE when i get on a roll i can't stop and half the time my post make no sence LOL. Mind running faster than i can type i guess. Ok chat soon Angie |

| Since she wriggles out from under the doll blanket, I suppose now you have a good excuse to buy her some jammies!

| Welcome to YT! She is beautiful! One of our member's, Khristine (Xtine) has a yorkie/pom mix named Oreo. He is absolutely adorable, and your baby looks quite a bit like him. I would definitely suggest some Nutrical (or Nutristat) when your baby wakes up and right before bed since she is so small. Just a small dab to make sure that her sugar doesn't drop too low. If she is shivering, you should think about a t-shirt for her. I would free feed her if possible so that she can pick at the food when she wants it. She is so tiny, and if food isn't available when she's hungry, she could have some problems with hypoglycemia. If she is a fussy eater, try moistening her dry food with some chicken broth- that will probably be more appealing than adding water. But don't worry too much- as long as she is able to eat the food, she'll eat it when she gets hungry. I have Olivia, who is almost 7 months. I can't remember how much she pooped when I first got her, but the amount that she does has definitely increased! (On Saturday, she went 4 times by 3 p.m.! I was in shock!) It sounds like you're doing a great job so far. I'm glad that you found us! Don't ever hesitate to ask questions or post photos of your baby! |

I have been looking on ebay for great deals on clothes for her, right now she sleeps with me and also in her bed area. I think this was the hole reason why i wanted a small dog so i can dress her up, I remember as a child not that long ago that i would dress my cats up in dresses and little hats and so on my mom thought i was nuts, and still does LOL But i will be buying lots of different outfits for her, and hair stuff as well. Anyone know of a good store in Canada well actually in Manitoba. Thanks Angie | |

| I got Ender at 6 wks and he was eating food but the breeder recommended just to be safe for the transition, we also supplement it with powdered milk you can get at the pet store. Worked out great, he just stopped drinking it one day and we knew he was done. They also recommended a great tip if she is struggling at night. We have kennel trained him, and at night we would fill a mason jar with warm water, giving him something to lay against. It was so great not to have the nightime whinning we have had with our other dogs. Don't be really afraid...I was really worried for those first months cause of how small he was and is (2.3 at about six months) but he's uber resiliant and loves to romp. As we now know at 6 am when he barks to get us up to play!
