Meet Jill, Eddie and Rusty's little sister
 

I'd like to introduce the newest addition to our pack, Jillian. She's an 11-week-old Yorkie with the body of a peanut and the courage of a lion.

The story of her coming into our lives is too long to recount in its entirety, so I'll just give you the highlights:

* She's 11 weeks old today, born on Easter Sunday.
* Her dad is parti-colored. Her Mom is standard colored.
* She was whelped by Kimberly King, who is feminvstr on YT.
* She is not from Kimberly's line of champion dogs. Kimberly handled the birth through the adoption for a friend.
* She was named in honor of recently departed Jack. ... Jack fell down and broke his crown, and Jill came, uh, frolicking after. :) I wanted Jill from the beginning, but Kelly wanted something more girlie. After months of negotiating, we settled on Jillian. Jillian Bijou, if I correctly overheard Kelly whispering to her tonight. :p To me, she's Jill. ;)
* We got her as a pet-quality Yorkie and will have her spayed.
* She's small, just 1 pound, 12 ounces now. I'm hoping for 4, 4 1/2 as an adult.
* Her personality is amazing. We introduced her to Eddie and Rusty tonight, and she didn't have a second's hesitation. She's going to rock their world.
* It's 4:22 a.m., she's sleeping soundly, and I can't stop staring at her.

It was a long search that started with looking at rescues and ended up with me realizing that I wanted a pup. My one regret with Jack was I only had the last three years of his life with him. And my one regret with Eddie is I wasn't around to ensure the first weeks of his life were perfect. And as I've become more involved in training, I decided this once I wanted to see what I can do with a dog that was reared the way they are supposed to be reared and raised the way they are supposed to be raised.

I have no doubt our adventures will take twists and turns that I never imagined, but I can't wait to get started.

Tell me about it. Kelly went to pick her up, and the last thing she slipped into her bag was a pink sweater. Fortunately, she bought one too small. But I do see she came with a pink bunny and a pink blanket. :rolleyes:

WOW!!!! Congrats! I love the name Jillian!!!! Can't wait to watch her grow and boss around her brothers :) Now she needs some cute *girly* winter clothes :D

OMG....is that too dang cute, she looks like she is curling up into a ball, like a roly poly puppy :D I have a yorkie statue in a very similar position.

HAHAHA.....I can just see your posts in the for sale section now, something I never thought we would see - Mike posting - "I'll buy the dresses in pictures 3, 5, 10 and 12.....and do you have shoes to match?":D:p

Oh Mike, I love her and am SO HAPPY for you and Kelly, Eddie, and Rusty! She is just adorable. I'm sure Jack is watching over this little one and is so happy that she is named in honor of him. CONGRATULATIONS! :D :D :D

A great big congratulations to all of you. What a sweet little girl Jill is.
Another female in the family, that's great for Kelly. I am sure this little
girl will be spoiled beyond belief by all of you. Encluding her big brother's.
I can't wait to hear your upcoming stories Mike. I am sure she will be
ruling the roost in no time. Size means nothing to a Yorkie but their
determination get's them what they want all the time.
It will be interesting to see if she does become Alpha of her pack:p

Yeah Kelly you got your girl..hehehe..sorry Mike you know what's coming now don't you? For sure you will be Jill's trainer but Kelly will be her fashion consultant..lol.:D I see it all now..pink snowboots, pink parka, pink sweaters oh and least we forget pink bows.;)

I am very happy for you both and oh boy the boys will have their hands full with Jillian as well.

I personally, think that little girls are so different than the boys. If she is anything like Toto, don't let that delicate little personna fool you. A male was messing with Toto's friend, Shira, and Toto jumped right in his face!! :eek: I was in shock ... Patrick was beaming!! "That's my girl"!! ;) I am looking forward to hearing about all the new adventures and Jill learning agility! Yep! I am sure little Jack is smiling and will be cheering his little sister on!

Mike, if you haven't already, I, for one, think you should start your book, "My Three Sons" ... it will be a bestseller! :D

Little Jillie AKA "PartiGirl"

Her sire/dam were both owned by my dear friend Dawn, she became gravely ill, diagnosed with brain cancer on March 31, 2009 dawn lost her battle, she is now in gods arms....her family asked for my help, they brought little Giget for me to whelp, raise and place her puppy, Jillie was a singleton, a real joy to raise for Mike and Kelly. Kelly flew in yesterday, spent time with me and all the kids also got to meet the Summer/JJ babies:)

Enjoy her Mike and Kelly it was my pleasure, she couldnt have been placed with a more loving and deserving family!!

Ok... I first want to say that my nose is burning (for those who don't know, its when tears are about to come , its a way for me to warn myself and to try to hold them back) ;) I just think that lil Jill is gorgeous... you know sometimes when you see a lil pup and it just tugs at your heart? Well, she is one of them. I could fall in love instantly! I LOVE the name and I think it suits her well. :) And what a lil princess she will be! I can't wait to see the threads of you buying some pink dresses and bows! haha AND THE VIDEOS! That is one of my favorite things about you! I LOVE your videos (I have been known to watch them for an hour at a time and show them to guests when they come over :cool: hehe)
