| Neither of my dogs is exactly cooperative, so is there an easy way to put their hair in a topknot/ninja knot (I *LIKE* that!!!)? I don't want to cut their bangs, and they're always peeking through them. TIA! |

| ♥ Joey's Mom ♥ Donating Member | We call it the Ninja knot too, when Joey's hair was shorter, I found that using the two band method helpful, it also works well if you are using a bow, because it locks the bow in place Here's a link describing it. Casual Way to Put Dog Bows In. I also think Pet Silk Topknot gel is great for keeping those short hairs out of the eyes, until hair grows longer. Don't be tempted to use human hair products which can be harmful to the eyes. Here's another good link: Topknots shared by Linda Grimm and Maria Lelinho starring Rocky! Many Thanks!, and a third: How to make a topknot - illustrated with pictures Dog Bows

| Thanks for the links. I'll check them out in detail. Neither of the dogs are exactly furry; they have length, but not bulk to their hair. They also don't have much patience . But I don't want to cut their bangs, so they'll just have to LEARN patience, I guess |

| Hi, What exactly, and where can I get a product for the short hairs that are growing around her eyes? Lily does have some eye discharge so I wash her face every day or so with a facecloth. I'd like to grow her hair out though and the short hairs are right in front of her eyes. She is my first Yorkie so I'm learning as I go. Also, if I just leave them , will they eventually lay flat on her nose, and curl down around her nose? Last edited by Kimber44; 10-05-2008 at 04:55 PM. |

| Cindra also makes a gel, I think you can purchase it online via Cherrybrook.com or JBwholesale.com....But there is also a product called Stick Up....small nail polish bottle with a brush (just like nail polish)......
