|  Day 5 - Goodbyes Finally, on this last morning with Yodi, our very own Wheaten Terrier named Sweeney crawled out of the closet to say his goodbyes to Yodi... Why didn't he join us sooner?? Busy on tour?? No way... So the three terriers lined up for a photograph displaying the two little souvenirs Yodi had picked up for his next family! The little Olympic mascot and the Canadian Flag tissue pack. Pichu wouldn't be left out, so she's sending along a Whistler Olympic postcard as well! In the short stay Yodi had here, she had won our hearts over... so she gets to take the song of our hearts with her in the form of a music producing mp3 (2 gigs) locket during her travels so that she'd hopefully be less lonely during those long plane, boat, and truck rides in her box. So with Yodi safely tucked away inside her travelling box since yesterday, she is finally on her way to her new family via UPS Ground with tracking... So be on the lookout for a big brown truck guys! ETA quoted was approximately 2 days. Wow, she must be going somewhere close! So does that mean she'll get there by Thursday?? Hope so, in the least, it ought to be in time for the weekend if not sooner.   |

| Attachment 280667 In front of "Battery Point Light House" Attachment 280668 They give tours of the light house when it's low tide. As you can see...it isn't low tide. So the Keepers are "stranded" there until low tide. We might go back when it's low tide and walk out there and take pictures from the light house. | Every Thursday (if its not rainning ...which it does her a lot!) Moose and Mimi and their mom go to the park (which is right next to the beach and the Marine Mammal Center in the previous post) and walk with the M's dad while he and his friends play "Disc Golf". attach]280674[/attach] I am on top of the "basket". | First off yesterday when got home from work...all three of the furbutts were in the window waiting for me!  I guess Moose and Mimi were a little pushy to see their momma! They pushed Yodi over>! More pics next post...

| We went to Crescent Beach over look! It is a beautiful view from here on a beautiful day. It is gorgeous at night. It is just south of town. The locals call it Peckers Knob! It was a very overcast day. Actually it started drizzling on us. | Here is Yodi down at our Harbor. We have lots of commerical and recreational fisherman. Attachment 280835 Attachment 280836 She really wanted to go salmon fishing to have for dinner. We had to tell her it is not salmon season and we would go to jail! I told her not to worry, when we got home we had NB Salmon and Sweet potato kibble for dinner~ more pics next post....
