| Some fun on the pool cover! So, Jackson (and Lily, my dad's dog) don't seem to understand that you're not supposed to RUN across the pool cover... or play on top of it, LOL.

| Jackson's gonna be in for a big surprise when the pool opens in a week or so... gonna have to watch him so carefully so he doesn't make a dive!

| Very cute pictures, they look like they are having so much fun. Has Jackson been in the pool before?

| OMG! Please don't allow the tragedy we just went through to happen to your little dog. We had worked with ours unti we were confident they knew how to get out on their own before we allowed them anywhere near our pool alone and still our precious little Spikie was taken from us. The overwhelming devestation is just more than words can express. When I read the headline it just made me cold inside thinking about my Spikies last few moments and what he went through... Best wishes... |

| Cute pictures but wow...are you sure this is something they should be doing? What if the pool cover was compromised in some way and a claw or foot went through and no one saw it happen? There are a couple of very sad posts on YT right now about members losing their dogs to drowning accidents in their pools. Our new house has a pool but it is fenced from the other portion of the yard...I would never allow my dogs to run and play on a pool cover. I hope nothing happens to yours. |

| I do worry about pools and the small dogs.. I see there having such fun.. but you really must look and find the threads of people's yorkies drowning.. I have lost accidently not by a drowning.. but it was a loss so unexpected that it was quite unbearable... not to sound negative.. for I do not want you to feel I am.. anne |

| Trust me guys, I would never let anything happen to him. They only do it when we are outside and Jackson is rarely outside without us being there. I hope you all don't get the wrong impression that we are allowing the dogs to be in danger or harms way. I am a strong believer in drowning awareness and actually run and created CONNOR CARES foundation In Honor of Connor in honor of my 6 year old brother who we lost to a drowning at a country club pool in 2006. So, nobody needs to tell me twice the dangers of water and drowning! Drowning has affected and changed my entire life in ways I wish hadn't of happened. We have events and fundraisers every year to prevent drownings from occurring and I am a huge advocate for the prevention of it. So, I definitely hope you all didn't get the wrong impression and think we are necessarily "allowing" this to happen. We always get them off the pool cover the minute they start to get on it, but this time, they had started playing and I thought it was cute so I snapped some pictures.

| Thank you, it's been really tough. Me & Connor were pretty far apart in age and he was more than just a brother to me. I was a 'second mother' to him, if you will, and took care of him a lot He was my little buddy. I was away in Florida when the accident happened and it's a longgg story but it shouldn't have happened. Such a preventable tragedy. My mom feels such guilt from the whole thing, it was a sporadic thing that happened. She was such an overprotective worry wart who would NEVER let him go to a pool or anywhere with someone else. She was a real estate agent at the time and was signing a contract for a friend when he asked my mom if Connor wanted to go to the pool with him and his 2 step-children. Naturally, my mom tried everything under the sun to get him NOT to go... but she gave in. But, it's a long story! I just miss him every day.
