Trust me guys, I would never let anything happen to him. They only do it when we are outside and Jackson is rarely outside without us being there. I hope you all don't get the wrong impression that we are allowing the dogs to be in danger or harms way.
I am a strong believer in drowning awareness and actually run and created
CONNOR CARES foundation In Honor of Connor in honor of my 6 year old brother who we lost to a drowning at a country club pool in 2006. So, nobody needs to tell me twice the dangers of water and drowning! Drowning has affected and changed my entire life in ways I wish hadn't of happened. We have events and fundraisers every year to prevent drownings from occurring and I am a huge advocate for the prevention of it.
So, I definitely hope you all didn't get the wrong impression and think we are necessarily "allowing" this to happen. We always get them off the pool cover the minute they start to get on it, but this time, they had started playing and I thought it was cute so I snapped some pictures.
