| Welcome to YT! Your babies are gorgeous! Both of mine had a lot of double teeth...it is best to have the stubborn ones removed when they are spayed/neutered so they don't have to 'put them under' an extra time.

| Your babies are beautiful!!!! As for "double-teeth", make sure you check with your vet. They are probably baby teeth that didn't fall out on their own. In fact, my Yorkie is having 9 baby teeth removed in Sept. because she didn't even lose her bottom baby teeth. Many times hard kibble is enough to loosen them to fall out. (Or a good game of tug-of-war or a squeaky toy). But sometimes, they just don't fall out on their own. As you probably know, poor dental health can lead to all kinds of problems, including heart disease. It's really important that they not retain the extra teeth. The teeth can lead to decay and eventually other health problems. |

| Hi there and welcome to YT. Your babies are adorable. I have five and like you they are my world. In so far as double teeth, if they have not come out by now (11 months) then they will have to be removed surgically. It's not a big deal since they are babies and are not really rooted, but should be done so that food is not trapped which can cause the teeth to rot and gums to become infected. Elaine |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Hi and welcome! Your babies are very cute.......your chester is light colored like my Lucky and Timmy is a sweetie. Yep, the double sets of teeth are due to retained puppy teeth. Yorkies are prone to this happening. My little Toby just recently had 9 baby teeth pulled because the adult teeth were in and things were getting crowded in there.
