Hi and welcome to YT! :welcome4: Your babies are adorable. I was hoping to see a picture of Taz also??? You were asking about double teeth.....do you mean baby teeth and adult teeth? |
Aww very cute! Welcome! :) you may want to try searching for the info. using the search tab on the tool bar above.. or maybe try looking in the health & diet section. ;) |
Welcome to YT! Your babies are gorgeous! Both of mine had a lot of double teeth...it is best to have the stubborn ones removed when they are spayed/neutered so they don't have to 'put them under' an extra time. |
Welcome to YT. Your babies are beautiful! Hope you enjoy it here ... looking forward to hearing all about your gang! :p |

Welcome to YT . |
Your babies are beautiful!!!! As for "double-teeth", make sure you check with your vet. They are probably baby teeth that didn't fall out on their own. In fact, my Yorkie is having 9 baby teeth removed in Sept. because she didn't even lose her bottom baby teeth. Many times hard kibble is enough to loosen them to fall out. (Or a good game of tug-of-war or a squeaky toy). But sometimes, they just don't fall out on their own. As you probably know, poor dental health can lead to all kinds of problems, including heart disease. It's really important that they not retain the extra teeth. The teeth can lead to decay and eventually other health problems. :animal-pa |
Welcome to YT. Your babies are cute. I saw the pictures of the Yorkies but I didn't see one of Taz. He is part of the family too. :) |
Hi there and welcome to YT. Your babies are adorable. I have five and like you they are my world. In so far as double teeth, if they have not come out by now (11 months) then they will have to be removed surgically. It's not a big deal since they are babies and are not really rooted, but should be done so that food is not trapped which can cause the teeth to rot and gums to become infected. Elaine |
Thank you for the advice and stuff on the teeth, ive been trying everything to get them out, i dont really want to put him under, but it will have to be done i guess. (im thinking of breeding him so i dont want to neuter him yet, who knows though) and here the pictures of taz: http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...g/DSC03151.jpg and this is sonny the quaker parrot, also a big part of our family. http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...g/DSC03196.jpg |
Hi and Welcome to YT !!! Cute pic's .... thanks for sharing !!! |
Hi and welcome! Your babies are very cute.......your chester is light colored like my Lucky and Timmy is a sweetie. Yep, the double sets of teeth are due to retained puppy teeth. Yorkies are prone to this happening. My little Toby just recently had 9 baby teeth pulled because the adult teeth were in and things were getting crowded in there. |
Welcome to YT. Love your babies, but where is Taz? Would love to meet him! ;) |
