Aww how adorable My Brody is afraid of the wtaer but we will put him in the pool but he seems like he holds on for dear life.

Not sure what it is but even when we all go in he barks like crazy

have you tried one of those spongy floats? I used to have a cocker that would bark like mad when we all went into her "water bowl". We had one of those lounger type floats and she would get out on that when we were in the pool and she loved being in the water with us without having to actually be in the water! LOL!!
I don't have that float anymore so don't know what my girls would do with that!

They make a system called SwimCool now....we got it for our pool and it works GREAT!!! Our pool used to be like a bath during the summer; now it's nice and REFRESHING! SwimCool Systems

They look SO cute!!! Do they actually swim on their own? Their little faces are so adorable when they're paddling! I'm afraid to take mine into the pool; they just look at it like it's something scary to them! Maybe once it's really hot here (we just are hitting 100 deg. now).

Thanks for the tip on that system...it looks great...no pricing on there so i'm guessing it is HUGE! LOL!! running the waterfall helps a lot and ice is cheap! LOL! Interesting idea. If you are already at 100°, i can imagine this would be a must for you guys in the desert.
My girls actually do swim on their own but only if i put them in the water. they are getting more and more used to it. My girls are definitely NOT waterdogs so they prefer the A/C kinda cooling!

I love how the topknots stay dry. Makes them look like lil helicopter propellers..lol cute!

hehe we don't have a pool but i fill my masterbath tub up and put meiling, kioko and yoshi in there...meiling does not like the water...giving her a bath is fight a war...arhg!@!!

It used to be a non-chlorine with the ionization but that wore out replacing the copper all the time so DH switched it to chlorine so yes, we use a boat load of chemicals. It is a pain but worth it to have it there. I would never put in another one. We put this one in when the kids were growing up but now they are all gone, it mostly just sits. I do enjoy the waterfall but don't use the pool that much anymore.

HA!!! I use our jacuzzi tub as a holding area for my girls since it is deep and they cannot run off. I then take one at a time into the shower stall and close the door so they cannot escape. i have a long hose in there that will reach the floor so i just get in there with my bathing suit on and wash each one and put them back in the tub with the hair drying pointing into it. When all 4 are done, they all run outside and we dry on a blanket in the grass as each one gets their hair cut and combed. In the winter, i just blow them dry in the tub. I put towels in the bottom of the tub so they don't slip around too. What we do for our babies!!!

Thanks for sharing those pictures, don't use my pool either but I should get my behind in there with Tricksie, so much trouble to bath her everytime. Bad Mommie.

I know it is a lot of trouble but if you are going to bathe her anyway, take her for a swim first! It is really fun!! Good exercise for them and us too!!
