Yes TJ was very curly and more cotton-like when he was younger. I remember his back just before his tail was like frizz. Now that he is older, his hair is thick, fine, curly and soft, no more harsh frizz.

Roxy's hair is also thick and fine, but very soft. She can have some curl too on her back end, but her front end is very straight.

Neither have silky hair, they have soft and fine. I don't know if they are considered cotton though

I wanted to post a picture and then when I went to my pc file to get it, I realized my little guy is wearing a shirt all the time and I don't have one naked picture of him lol! I will have to snap some!

Buddy is a deep gold rather than tan and his back is black,
however, at four yrs. I see him changing one again.
I do believe somewhere in the near furture he is going to
be a golden Yorkie. His back is turning fast! Strange.
