Yes TJ was very curly and more cotton-like when he was younger. I remember his back just before his tail was like frizz. Now that he is older, his hair is thick, fine, curly and soft, no more harsh frizz.
Roxy's hair is also thick and fine, but very soft. She can have some curl too on her back end, but her front end is very straight.
Neither have silky hair, they have soft and fine. I don't know if they are considered cotton though
