I guess part of why I didn't want to do this is because a good portion of her coat is silky. It's just from her back hips on...it gets matted sooooo easily. it never lays down, it curly, and grows very uneven. it just looks very stragly (is that a word????) when it is long. so it was very bittersweet to cut it..because I have always had it longer. and if I went any shorter, it would have looked even worse, I think. so if I can get used to this, I might keep it. but for right now, I am in freak out mode LOL

She looks absolutely adorable but be careful if you are in the hair cutting mood and you are pregnant you may end up cutting your own hair... it just kinda happens I had long hair and then when I got pregnant I went chopping so maybe ..... this is a sign...

When is your sweet baby due? Where are tummy pictures? I like how you can take your hand and put over your belly button and make a heart...

I held a newborn today he is 5 days old and when he was born he weighed 12 pounds 10 ounces .. THIS IS NOT A TYPO EITHER!

but I do think she likes it. I really do. plus, she has quite the wardrobe so I can keep her warm. I just think she looks terrible

It will grow back much faster than you think!

LOL. I was just thinking that her hormones were on overkill.

Your pup looks just fine.

My cotton monster has shorter hair than that and it will stay that way her whole life!!! It's just too thick and fuzzy and matts way too easily, plus she gets really warm in the summer.

If you really don't like it, it will grow back, but I think it will grow on you. (no pun intended

)

I just cut all of Stedman's body hair off Friday

Well, I say "cut it all off" - really I didn't...but he did get a MAJOR trim

His hair was almost half way to the floor and now it only touches down to the very end of his stomach. I just had to as he wears a belly band and having all that long hair just doesn't work well for us when using the belly band

His hair was always getting tangled. I could brush it out...but it's just constant and became such a pain. I actually think he is happier this way
