| ![]() Yes, she is my first yorkie, but I've always had pets. I also have a cat (another rescue) named Ollie, and a Westie (who I waited 10 years for and just received as a gift in December). Geeze...Ollie is a story in himself. He was 3 days old when my daughter got him from a girl who thought it would be "fun" to raise a kitten...so she somehow got her hands on a brand new newborn kitten and didn't even know how to feed him! My daughter nursed him for 5 weeks until he was strong enough to come live with me (she is in college in Chapel Hill). I'll have to post some pics of him too when I figure out how...he's a hoot. (I just saw the manage attachement button...I'll try it...lol...what a ditz I am sometimes...if this works it's a pic of Bug at her best 1 year ago) |

| ![]() Her and kass would be great friends, the whole top of Kass's head was shaved to remove a lump on friday she looks pretty straggly. Is the reason for her hair loss because she doesnt absorb food nutrients?

That's the best explanation the vets can come up with up to now. I suppose it makes sense...living things are pretty good at prioritizing, and if her body is not absorbing well, it would use whatever it can get to keep her heart and major organs nourished. Since she lives in a warm environment (she never never goes outside), hair would be pretty low on the priority list. | |

| ![]() [So this is my poor ugly little Bug. She's not beautiful like the other little ones on this site, but she is a tender, sweet little soul with a heart that simply doesn't give up.] Welcome!!!!!! You said it yourself! Beauty comes from within! And it IS in the eye of the beholder! How wonderful she has such a loving family to love and care for her! It sounds like she is a little "Love Bug" I cannot wait to see her picture, but I already know she is a cutie! Your little story was heart warming! thanks for sharing it! Best wishes to you, your family, and that little sweet Bug! and I know everyone on YT, will just love her!

| ![]() Poor little thing , it must be both heartwarming and at the same time heartbreaking with her ups and downs. I so admire those of you who do rescue and are able to make a difference in such a precious little babies lives.
