| Positive thought for Buddha Tomorrow is the dreaded day for Buddha. He goes in at 7am for his neutering. My daughter and I are very nervous and worried because he's such a big baby in so many ways. He has a low pain tolerance and yelps if you pull out a sticker! I researched and think we found the best vet in our area but I just know the horror stories and I am doing my best to stay strong and think poistive thoughts only. He is 2.5 lbs and 9 months old and just the sweetest thing! Those of you who have been through this with a small yorkie, can you tell me if your vet allowed you to take a toy and his own bed? Any advice or sharing of experiences would be appreciated. |

| Awww, Buddha, we're all praying for you! We know you'll come thru it like a champ! I know I had a harder time with this than even Sully did! LOL! Sully is not only my 1st dog ever but he's also my 1st male pet. Other than my husband and a few random fish that could have been males but who knows. It'll be ok, you'll be back home with your mommy and siblings before you know it! When Sully came out of surgery, the vet said he was one of the easiest patients he'd ever had

| My first Yorkie, Candy was 2lbs 8oz at 7 months when she was spayed. Everything went great, and I did take her a toy, and a blankie. Lexi was spayed last month weighing 4lbs 3oz, I took her balnkie, binky, and bunny.

| Best of luck to Buddha tomorrow! Don't forget to tell him he's still a boy after his little snip-snip! If you can, try to sneak in a t-shirt with your scent on it as well if you are not going to be right there for the procedure. And of course, watch him carefully after the procedure to make sure he is doing okay. He will be very tired after the procedure and may be a bit lethargic for a day or two. |

| Bless your heart! I know that feeling of worry and being nervous, as I went through that when Maddie had her spaying. She wasn't as small as Buddha, but I'm sure he will do fine! I'll say a prayer for a successful surgery and speedy recovery! He's such a little cutie! Best wishes! |

I'm certain your baby will be fine. You wouldn't be a good mommy if you didn't worry, though. | |

| Hey Buddha-Tucker S here. You are such a big boy now, good luck on your surgery. Mommy and I will be thinking about you. I'm sure it will be fine. My big brother Rusty is a whimp and he didn't have any problems! Mommy read that the surgery can make you kind of lethargic. She won't tell me what it means but she said she can't wait for me to have mine! It will buy her at least one day of peace and quiet. She is such a silly mommy!

| Well, now we wait...... We dropped Buddha off at 7:15 and he has a t-shirt with my daughter's scent on it! He was so scared he was shaking and trying to get out of the vet techs arms and back to Becca. They had on the order to do ALL of his vaccinations! My daughter had them all done up in Santa Barbara where they live and they did not call that vet to get the records. We got them faxed over so they won't be giving him any vaccines. They called us shortly after we left to say that they feel his baby teeth need to be pulled by a specialist because he has so many! I wish they would have told us that at an earlier visit so we could have taken him to the specialist for x-rays first. Now he will have to have two surgeries, but the good part is that this one will be shorter. We are supposed to pick him up at 3pm. Thanks for your positive thoughts and support everyone! |
