| My Angel Eli - Rainbow Bridge 1/25/06 Hello everyone . I am new to this Forum and wanted to say hello. My little Eli went to heaven on 1/25/06 this year and it has been so hard. It's been 4 months now and I seem to be grieving more now. I guess I was trying to be strong when he first passed. It has been so hard and I have been so lonely. I had Eli for 13 years, and I am having a hard time imagining him not being with me. Just wanted to share. |

| Welcome!! I am a newbie too, but it doesn't take long to just get hooked... There are some wonderful people in the YT group... I am so sorry about your loss. We love these little ones so much. They depend on us and change our lives forever. I have been where you are and it just takes time my friend.. Not that you will really ever stop hurting cause you will miss your little Eli always, but the greive changes... I lost my Tara after 18 1/2 years, she was like a child to me. The last 2 years of her life were a labor of love for me. Sometimes I look back on it know and wonder how we did it. She was a fighter and I was not going to give up on her. It really took me about a year to be able to really come to grips with the change of not having her. It was a long time before I could talk about her without just breaking down.. I only wish I knew about this wonderful YT place then... We will try to luv on you and help you!!! I did end up getting a new baby and she is wonderful in her own ways.... There is just something about these little furbabies we call Yorkies... Maybe someday you will be ready and another special one will be lucky to have you... I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you start feeling better... |

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Quote:
They each hold a special place within our hearts. You will always treasure being blessed to have had Eli, I know I do with Cassie and am thankful God chose to place her in our loving care for her life time here on earth. I bet Cassie was among the first of many to greet Eli and that he and her were taking turns giving the Lord tons of yorkie kisses, our loss's in life aren't easy they are so difficult but God will supply us with our needs, along with the assurance that HE now has them in HIS keeping. I believe HE helped us to decide we needed another yorkie, Baby Blessing, and she is truely helping us cope better. Please post and keep in touch with everyone here you will find this is the most caring site of folks. We look forward to your future postings. Patti and Jack ~~Baby Blessing~~ RIP Precious Eli = God has you in HIS care. | |

| Thank you all for your responses. Everyone is so kind and supportive. Besides my little Eli, I have a calico cat (Mia), mix breed (Taco) and two cocker spaniels (Topper & Bindi) Yes, I have a furbaby farm at my house. We just adopted Bindi about 4 weeks ago and she was a rescue. She is just the sweetest thing. I did look for another yorkie, but also considered another cocker. Bindi is a love, but of course not like my Eli. There was just something special about him.... He was my baby ( I have no children ). Lately - I do cry alot. I miss him so much. My family and friends were very surprised how strong I have been, but now I think I am grieving more. I have lost my little angel....and it hurts. again, thanks for letting me share.

| So sorry for your loss! I lost my little baby just under a month ago and it still hurts everyday but the wonderful people here on YT have really helped me and even though I don't feel ready to replace Milo, just reading about other fur babies and the things they get up to helps. RIP little Eli
