Kim on that day Lucy found you she knew that she would finally know what it was like to be loved and cherished. Because of your generous caring and all the love you had for her she finally had the life she was meant to have. I know it's hard for you right now but you know she is pain free and she will be waiting to see you again, That will be a joyous reunion I am sure. The pain will never go away but it will become manageable. Let Allie, Mia and Lucy help. Love ya.

This post has me crying. Lucy was the luckiest little girl to have been found by you and given the life she so deserved which was way to short but you did everything that you could to make it a beautiful loving one. My heart is breaking for you and your husband. I want to thank you so much for saving this little senior and for showing her the love she needed so much. I too have a little senior that I rescued and I know the time will be coming that I have to help her to the bridge but I just can't think about that now. I, like you will just give her all my love and keep her safe until that day comes. I pray that you find comfort in your memories of your sweet little baby. Rest in peace sweet little Lucy. I know you were greeted by a big family of furangels and you're all happy and healthy playing at the bridge all of who will be back together with their families one day.

Aww, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your words, so eloquently spoken, brought tears to my eyes. As prepared as we think we may be, we never are ready for that day. For what Lucy brought into your home and what you learned from her is what loving pets is all about and makes taking the risk of losing however too soon that may be worth every moment. RIP sweet Lucy.

Kim, I am so very sorry for your loss of sweet Lucy. It sounds like you really gave her the best she could have in her remaining time on this earth. You loved her and she loved you. You both enriched each other's lives. She will always be your Angel watching over you and you will see her again. I truly believe this. Hugs to you!!
