Tears are flowing down my cheeks as I read through these posts. I am so very sorry for your loss and what you had to go through to say nothing of what that poor little dog went through. Please remember that you can always come here to talk about your feelings knowing that we understand and care deeply for you. We understand completely how you feel. I just wish that caring and understanding could lesson your pain. Please consider taking these people to court for all of the medical expenses as well as the cost of purchasing another dog. Not that you need to go out and get one right away but to set a monetary value. As for when to get another puppy - when you are ready. It is never too soon or too late it just depends on your feelings. Another dog can't take Charlie's place but it wouldn't anyway. Even though another yorkie would have similar traits they are all different so a new little furball would have his or her own personality to enjoy and love. I wish only the best for you and your family and pray that you can soon remember all those little things that Charlie did to make you smile and laugh. All those things that made your love grow. Hugs to you and your family. L

What a horrific experience, i'm so sorry and know Charlie is in a better place now free of pain.I cannot fathom how scary and awful that must have been for you and poor Charlie. I hope to hear an update that the owners have given you the half if not all plus more.

I am so very sorry for your the tragic loss of your baby, how utterly tramatizing! Losing a pet leaves this massive void in your life- you no longer have someone waiting for you to feed them, pick them up, play with them and wanting a new puppy to fill that void is only natural. You will really know when you are ready, there isn't any set time frame, for everyone is very different. Sending prayers to you and your family during this most difficult time.
