i am deeply sorry for your loss of your beautiful athena. it has been almost a year (aug 29th) since my sweet nika passed away suddenly at 6 years young. i miss her every day and think of her all the time. my heart is still broken over the loss but i do strongly feel her presence still with me in spirit and in my heart. it is so hard when they are so young and it happens so suddenly. i have nika's mother zowi who is almost 11, and i adopted a puppy mill rescue baby girl last october, pixie. congratulations on your new baby venus! i hope you share many happy healthy years together and she helps to mend your broken heart. they never replace each other, but make their own special place in our hearts.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please ignore the ignorant people who say she was just a pet. I lost my Sophie Lynn last October and I think about her everyday. She was not a pet she was your baby so take time to grieve her but remember she is waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge.
