Sad Christmas

Soon it will be a year since I lost my precious Hutch. We how have a 10 month old baby and he is the joy of our home. As the first anniversary of Hutch's death approaches, I am still sad. However, Bailee makes life OK again. Just when I feel really sad, Bailee appears with endless kisses. I will always love my first Yorkie Hutch ~ he will always have that special place in my heart. YT was very helpful in comforting my broken heart. Thank-you all!

I understand your pain as we lost our first yorkie Biscuit last year on 11/16 at only 9 years old. We also have a 10 month old baby now...Trixie and she does help keep the sadness away, but as the anniversary approaches, I too find myself crying over the loss of our first pet. It is a testiment to your love for Hutch that you are still grieving his loss even while you are able to share your love with Bailee....these yorkies are special little angels that just steal our hearts.

Perhaps your Hutch is with my Biscuit playing at the rainbow bridge with all the other angels.

Today is the first anniversary of the passing of my dear Hutch. My heart still aches, but I have found much joy in my little Bailee. Our little ones can have such a tremendous hold on our hearts. Rest in peace my dear little Hutch.

YorkieTalk was such a help a year ago. I searched the internet for Yorkie subjects and found YT. The words of sympathy from kind YT members brought rest to my aching heart. Thank you all.

My thoughts and heart are with you. I'm very sorry for your loss of your beloved Hutch and that you are still feeling such pain. There will be a day that the memories of the overwhelming joy and love from Hutch will begin to heal your heart. We lost our precious little Ashley in June one month shy of her seventeenth birthday, so I truly understand how you are feeling. The pain right now is too deep for my heart to heal because it is too soon. Ashley's two sisters passed away a few years before her. Although I still feel pain from losing them, I mostly feel an overpowering love and overflowing happiness in my heart when I think of them and when my husband and I talk about them (which is very often). Believe me, it does get easier. Your sweet little Bailee is so precious. I hope she helps to heal your heart and that this Christmas you will have many blessings. I'm sure your little angel will be there with you, even if only in your thoughts.. We plan to get two more babies as soon as we are able to give them the care and love that they deserve. It is because we loved Ashley, Kiwi, Gracie, and their sister before them, Jolie, so much that we want honor them by choosing another Yorkie to love. When you love that deeply, another one can't replace your babies, but it's difficult not to completely surrender your heart to a new baby. When we lost our first Yorkie, Jolie, I never thought I could ever love another baby like her. I was so wrong about that. Each of our babies had such a different personality, and they were so unique. I could not have loved each of my little girls more. That love will always be there--it's just too strong and just stays in your heart. But there's always more to love again. You are seeing that with Bailee. I hope you build many beautiful and magical memories with her. I also hope you have a blessed and Merry Christmas this year.
