| It sounds like Bailee has come along to claim his own piece of your heart. I'm sure there's plenty of room there, right alongside your memories of Hutch. You know, Yorkies steal our hearts but they always give us theirs for safekeeping. I think we get the best of that deal . Here's a little something I found..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THE DOGS WHO HAVE SHARED OUR LIVES The dogs who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still make us think we hear a barking at the door. Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish used to be, And, sometime, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them... and always will. ---Linda Barnes --- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

| I am so very sorry for the loss of your little guy. I know it is going to be a difficult journey learning to live life without him, but each day you will become stronger and the Lord will bring you through it. I know it may not be much comfort especially right now, but how wonderful that he lived a long life, and one filled with love! I know you miss him, my prayers are with you and your husband during this time of great difficulty. |

| Thanks everyone for the kind words. We will have a wonderful Christmas this year with Bailee. Hutch will always be in my heart, but Bailee has filled some of the void experienced from Hutch's passing.

| deepest sympathy of losing your beloved hutch. i'm still experiencing the pain of losing my little nika back in august. christmas is going to be very hard without her, i completely understand. i feel she hasn't really left us and her spirit is with me always and she will forever have a special place in my heart. we also got another yorkie back in october, pixie. she has also done a great job of helping us heal our broken hearts. i have told her about her sister many times. there's a lot of mixed emotions missing nika at christmas but also feeling the joy of pixie's first christmas. congratulations on your new little bailee and may you & yours have a merry christmas. we will hold our love of those passed in our hearts forever! sending you a hug
