| My Gracie was a Lambrier Kennel reject. She cost $32.00 and she was "rescued". If they can't homes for the rejects they put them down! |

| I got Kodak from Tishea's yorkies in Oklahoma, very nice and informative breeder. I have had friends purchase from her and they were satisfied. She doesn't have any girls right now as I continue my search.

| I am from Iowa, but live in the Twin Cities. My mom, a retired nurse, is a very small breeder in Northern Iowa. I am trying to help get word out on the internet about her puppies- they are wonderful, well-cared for, AKC registered, etc. She takes very good care of her Yorkies. She currently has a tiny 13 week old female available that will mature to be around 2.5 to 3.0 lbs. I can post a picture if anyone would be interested. She has a website too, but I don't know if I can post it on here. PM me if interested! Last edited by countrycanines; 07-22-2007 at 12:38 PM. |

| I got Conner from SpecialYorkies in Oklahoma. He flew from Dallas to Hartford, CT. When he arrived I thought he would be afraid of us, but he was so well socialized at 10 weeks that he loved all people and all animals. In fact, he tries to play with squirrels and cannot figure out why they won't play with him.

| Since I have learned so much here, I hate to admit this but my son and dil got Murfee for me from a breeder in Oklahoma who was selling her puppies at Canton....a huge flea market in Texas. They paid $500 for him. thank goodness he has been healthy and is just wonderful. We got him at 7 weeks and he is 3 now. |

| I'll probably get yelled at but I got Allie from Craigslist. Her people wanted her to go to a good home and weren't asking a fee. After a lot of emails and meeting, three weeks ago I brought her home with me. I am new to Yorkies but I fell in love with her right away and wouldn't change a thing. I was really worried about what kind of home she might get or if someone would try to repost her for a large rehoming fee. I didn't answer the ad right away, but after some thought and I still had room for one more animal, I replied to the ad. It is one of the best things that I have ever done. I know that Craigslist has a really bad rap for a very good reason, but in this case, I got a wonderful companion. I love her very much and wouldn't think of ever having to rehome her. As soon as she started to become acclimated to her new home, she began to show her wonderful Yorkie personality. I've said it in a lot of posts, but if I'd had gotten her first Jennie would probably be a Yorkie lol. My Kali, a Japanese Chin, is my girl. She was my first and I got her as a puppy. I know that I wouldn't change that. But now that I am at my limit, it is hard not to want another little Yorkie. |
