What about us setting up a meeting at Mutts and Men like Milena suggested, but for the first time we meet publicly, regardless of other dogs being around? Such as, let's meet next Saturday at noon, whoever is there is there? (or whatever time and day is best)

We can then arrange a private meetup after that? It might be easier to get it going if the initial commitment isn't as high.

sounds good to me. just let me know the date and time you finalize, and I will try and make it. as of right now saturday at noon looks good for me but I will know for sure in a few days.

by the way - off topic question : can any of you recommend a groomer here in chicago? I see lots of them in the yellow pages. thanks

Sorry I never responded. I wont be able to go this weekend (I've got work both Saturday and Sunday and friday I have about 10 hours of homework to plow through...thats what I get for taking 17 credit hours right!) I will probably be more available in March...on weekends or monday/wednesday nights after 5 or Fridays during the day.

hey - I have not heard if saturday has been confirmed or not, but I won't be able to make it either way. had to go out of town last minute for work and am staying through saturday night.

let me know when the next one is and we will be there! I am open for either public or private get togethers. also - even if one or two of you just want to meet up informally - that is cool! feel free to PM me! I am available most weekends and maybe even some weekday evenings as long as it is in the city.

I didn't know I have yorkie lovers from my neighborhood here. Love the idea of meeting. I have three and they all love to play. We are expecting new babies this weekend so now I am just praying everything will go smoothly. Nice to meet you all

you're right by me!! I'm in franklin park.. you know that little street by UN night club (between Irving and Belmont on RR)? we live there
