I go to Park Animal Hospital (next to Caputo's grocery store) on Harlem and Grand in Elmwood Park.. I love Dr. Park... Also, there's a 24hr Animal Hospital on Grand.. I believe in Schiller Park accross from Jewel (by Mennheim?) they have great doctors there.. I've only taken Kayah there after day hours.. so I have never seen their regular daytime vets.. but the overnights are so nice and friendly.. I'm guessing the daytime ones will be too

I'm just reading this thread. Is there a meetup planned? If so, I would love to join with Adie. We can be there on a Saturday or Sunday, but weeknights are out. I'm in Park Forest to the south of Chicago.

When: NEXT week saturday MARCH 31st Time: 1:00pm till 2ish.
Where: Hamlin outdoor Dog park, 3035 N Hoyne Ave
Chicago, IL 60618, near cross streets of Clybourn/Damen & Wellington.
Nice small dog park weather should be nice to play outside, but be sure to bring their coats for if it gets a bit muggy out.
Why: So our LITTLE Yorkies can have a play date and socialize with other small yorkies.

I'd love to meet you guys since we could never find a way to get together

The fair is on Saturday and Sunday
I will be at the host hotel from friday and will be at the fair both days.

Hey and welcome.

We did meet a couple of weeks ago and it was a lot of fun. Of all the people on this forum, Erin (Fiona's mom), Mike (Coby's dad) and myself were there along with some other yorkies and their parents. The event was organized by Yorkie Club Chicago.

I don't think that they have anything planned any time soon. Having said that, I can organize any play date if there is going to be enough people to participate. Also, there is a toy breed spa day this weekend. I went to their last spa event and it was slightly too much for my puppy. However, if your dog is happy being indoors along with 40 or so other dogs, this might be a good place for you to attend.
