Ashley - The little male Yorkie on Craigslist is adorable. I love his ears. I wish we could get another Yorkie. Some day.... Right now it is a no go with my husband. I hope he gets a good home.

About Bandit in bed....For some reason Piccolo was able to hold until morning. I was lucky that way. Wish I had some good advice for you. We did keep a potty area in our bedroom. Do you have something for him to use in his play pen? Does he use the pee pads? Piccolo just ripped those up and I finally figured out she wanted to use newspaper.

Tammy - I'm with you about the brushing. I brush/comb Piccolo twice a day and she hates it. It seems to be part of having a Yorkie. Those knots just seem to multiply, if you know what I mean.

I love American Idol. Which David do you think will win?

I was kind of surprised that David C. won, I thought David A. got a better reaction from the crowd. I'm happy for the both of them. They'll both do great!

The David I thought would win, didn't, but I'm not dissappointed. I wish both of them could have won.

Thanks Lisa, I'm glad you liked the picture of Chloe. She was getting pretty old in that picture. She was such a good girl.

ok so I got up this morning and didnt find any pee spots!! so I started to get ready and I sat down on the bed for a second and I turn around to see Bandit peeing on the bed!! He was less than a foot from his pee pad!! I am losing my mind!! I understand he cant hold it long....but right next the the pee pad?? It just makes no good sense. And my vet told me if we are going to praise him for peeing on the pee pad we have to have a treat in hand while they are doing it because they would forget what they were being praised for so fast. Well what about disciplining him for not going in the right spot? Am I supposed to do that? If I dont will he think its ok to just pee where he likes? If I dont figure this out soon I am going to need a new matress, sheets, bed spread....maybe even carpet lol ahh I'm going "looney"!!

Tammy - Piccolo was so happy to have "people" company last night. Thanks for the comment.

Ashley - You are doing great with Bandit. Don't get discouraged. I used to cover large areas around Piccolo's "toilet area," so she would have a hard time missing the paper. Then I would praise and give her a treat that I kept near by, if she used it. As she got more accurate, I took more and more of the paper away. As far as negative, if I saw her go someplace she was not supposed to go, I said, "Bad Toilet," and picked her up and took her to the paper and said, "This is good potty." If I didn't see her, I did not say anything, because I figured she would not know what I was talking about.
Now, when she uses the paper and I do not see her, she comes and barks, to let me know what a good girl she is....Ha! I know everyone potty trains differently. How did everyone else do this?

So we are finally getting nicer weather around here. Yea! It looks like Indiana is already getting warm. Are you enjoying the weather, my friends in Indiana?

Hi all.....Yes Lisa we are enjoying the weather....it has been unusually cooler, but it has been pleasant though! Today we are starting to get drizzle again. I havent looked at the forcast.

Ashley....I have the wizzer pads for Winston. I originally bought them from g.h.little and learned to put a thin maxi pad in with them. They have sizes that fit....Winston wore the 8-11 inch band and actually still does. You can take a tape measure and measure around his back and pee pee area. I just bought more from yougetthesmiles yt member. She hand makes them and also you can put the pad in hers. She is currently running a special on them pay for 4 and get 5th free. She has material to choose from and just measure him for size for her too. We had a couple accidents on bed when we first got Winston, but have not had any since, and I do not use the bands at night....only during the day to save carpet. I think Bandit will figure out real quick the bed is a no go territory. Abby is jumping off the bed already when she needs to go to. Good luck with the training....it just takes time......we are still working on it here too!

Ashley, I know it's frustrating, but hang in there, it will get better with time.
Maybe you'll have to keep him off your bed until you can get him better potty trained? Even Daisy, who is 2 yrs old has accidents sometimes.

Just this morning, Abby pee'd on her pee pee pad and then walk right over and pooped under the dining room table! Silly girl! I just pick her up and set her on her pad and tell her "potty here Abby" and then she sniffed around on the pad a bit and I said "good girl Abby, go potty" Her accidents get farther and few between.

Tammy, the same thing with Winston about going pee pee on the pad, but pooping elsewhere. Someone on another thread, (and has any one else heard this?), that they don't like to do both on the same pad??!! Picky little things arent' they. I did an experiment and put a pad where he had been pooping in the sunroom, and sure enough he goes poop on that pad and peepee by the front door pad!!?? I don't want pads from here to there in the house though!! Oh well, hopefully in time they will all be 100%!!!

Oh and by the way.....Winston got his bath today.....but he was not in keeping with the schedule of fellow OIK threadersJeter, Piccolo, and Abby!!!! He sure smells good now!!! I love that Freshnclean shampoo.....Once Jeff was walking our dogs and this great, funny neighbor asked him.....what are you washing your dogs with?? They smell better than my wife!!

Sounds like everyone has great ways to potty train their babies! Piccolo also likes to potty in one area and poo in the other. She does her business right after she eats, so that is handy for taking care of everything in one period of time.

Lisa K. - Winston is looking and smelling fantastic, sounds like to me. Loved your story about "smelling better than my wife!"

yougetthesmiles had a one time special posted earlier today....she had 5 wee wee wraps for $20 including shipping, she said the first person to PM her got them....I won!! lol so they will be on their way as soon as my check gets there. Hopefully these one's will stay on him better!!

Thanks to everyone for all your advice I definitely be trying some of it out....and now that someone said it I've noticed Bandit doesnt like to poop in the same place as he pee's lol.

Yeah Bandit won the wee wee pad special!! She just pm'd me today and is shipping our order out already! I'm excited to try them....I think they will fit good...I think I read where she puts elastic in them.

Well I woke up to another wet spot!! We have one of those feather beds on top our mattress so it looks like I'm going to have to buy a new one because too many washes are ruining it and then that pee smell just will not come all the way out so I think because he can still smell it he thinks its ok to go there....all I know is that was $70 down the drain on that thing lol....at least I can laugh at the situation though.

And then Yougetthesmiles, you are sooo awesome!! A huge thanks goes to you for sending those Wee Wee Wraps out to me so quickly!! I cant wait to get them!! Hopefully little Bandit wont be able to get out of these
