| Let's see ![]() Daisy talks Well, it sounds like she's talking and sometimes what it sounds like she said, is appropriate to the conversation at hand! I love it when Abby barks at cars when they drive by...(although I know it will be a terrible habit) All 2.5 lbs of her! And just watching her run is so cute! I'm easily entertained

| Tammy - I would love to hear Daisy "talking" and Abby barking at cars! How cute. Abby also sounds adorable running. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Piccolo and I hurried and took a walk just now, because I have a feeling the police, etc. are going to close the street around our walking area. (Hillary Clinton is going to be at someone's house for a fundraiser, about a half a mile away, at 7:00 tonight.)

| Hi Lisa, We just went through HillaryPalooza here As a matter of fact, Lisa K. and I both saw Bill Clinton at my old high school. I think Hillary made 2 different appearances and Obama made 1 public appearance and 1 quiet, unannounced visit to U of E. Now that our primary is over, things have quieted down.Maybe you and Piccolo can take another walk later with your camera ![]() I asked hubby if he would go with the girls and I to the park later. He's napping on the couch right now, so hopefully when he wakes up we'll take a walk too. It's beautiful here today. How is it in your area? Hugs to you and Piccolo, Tammy, Abby and Daisy

| Lets see what does Winston do that is endearing.....I remember thinking the same of Winston as Tammy did of Abby.....his running and his "big" barking when he first started ....... I think his funniest thing that he still does and has ever since he met me is to paw at my hair immediately when I lay down IF it has any type of "foreign" object in it.......twisties, clips, ponytailers..... !! I don't know what it is about it......he does not like my hair any way but down!!! This all started before I ever tried to put anything in his hair!! if that was the case, I would think he is trying to get me back , but I know that's not it!!!! They are hilarious.....no matter how bad my mood on a given day, I can guarantee at least once Winston, cracks me up doing something !!...Something gross he was doing, and because of it I am glad we took the pool cover off today......Birds had been doing their thing on my pool cover, and he would go and try to eat each dropping ![]() !! I immediately of course would have to bring him in because I did not want him getting sick! That just got bad in the past week or so, because he loves being out there scurring around the deck and walking on our cover (it is strong enough saftey wise). He just couldn't figure out why he couldn't come out now....couldn't make the connection... . I'm so excited to see if he will like the pool. I got him a life jacket from Tinkerbell's closet so i'm hoping he does!! The shih tzus hate it so he is my only chance!! He doesn't mind his bath as much, so I'm taking that as a postive sign!!Lisa this get to know the Furbabies is fun!! more more

| I'm eager to see how the girls like riding in the boat this summer. I've been putting off buying Abby a life jacket because I just know she's going to go through a big growing spurt the minute I do. Of course with the price of gas, we may never get the boat out of the driveway. ![]() We didn't take that walk today Hubby weaseled out of it, but he was working on the fence, so I guess I'll let him off the hook. Poor babies need more excercise and so does their Mama. Lisa that's so funny that Winston tries to take your hair thingys out of your hair! He's probably just trying to help you out. Abby chews on my hair, silly little girl.

| Oh Tammy, that is so cool you have a boat!! I bet that is a blast!! I'm sure the girls would enjoy that too!! Yes this gas thing is ridiculous!! Does a boat take a similar amount of gas compared to a car?

| Tammy - I can hear sirens going off, so I wonder if Hillary is leaving Ft. Mitchell? Kentucky has never been important in a presidential primary as long as I can remember, so this is new to me. How about Indiana? That's great you can get your husband to take a walk with you and the girls, even if it is not today. Piccolo and I usually go solo. So how far has your husband built on the fence? That is a wonderful present. ![]() Oh, Lisa K., Winston does some cute things. I love the hair story. I understand about the bird poo. Piccolo thinks that is a treat. Yuk. Hope he enjoys your pool. I have a picture of Piccolo swimming in a lake next to me in South Carolina, from last summer. She looks scared to death. Poor baby. Have a great week everyone. If anyone can think of any "get to know you" furbaby questions, I would love to answer.

No, the boat takes so much more gas than a car. Seriously it only gets a couple miles to a gallon. Of course, it's fun just to take it out so far onto the river or lake and float. Tony fishes and I lay out. We had a really pretty boat that we sold to some people in FL year before last. That was a great deal. They paid us to deliver it, so we made a vacation out of it on our anniversary. I miss the boat, but Tony bought me a new diamond ring and gave it to me while we were there, so it was a nice trade off When we got married, all we could afford were wedding bands and then on our 7th anniversary, Tony got me a half carat diamond. Finally on our 19th, he bumped me up to a full carat! I thought this year on our 20th, he should have doubled that ![]() How did I go from talking about boats to diamonds? ![]() Anyway, now we have a bass boat. It's not nearly as much fun as the other, but Tony really enjoys it. There's a deck for the girls and I to lay out on. I got some great pointers from other Yorkie Moms about how to keep them cool while out on the boat. Our pool is history I have pictures of Chloe and Misty swimming in it, but the girls won't ever get to. My BIL and SIL have a lovely inground pool, I'm sure they'll get to take a dip sometime.

Lisa, My husband isn't much for taking walks. He walks a lot at work, or so he says I do get him to go with us every once in a while though, but we're usually solo too.I'd love to see the picture of Picccolo swimming! This is the first time Indiana has ever mattered in the primary as well. I kind of feel used now that it's over. (just kidding...kind of) It was exciting while it lasted though and something I won't soon forget. I really did enjoy seeing Bill Clinton. A friend of ours is the principal at a High School here in Evansville where Hillary made an appearance. I really wanted to go to that, but opted not to go. It was so cold that day and even though we are friends with principal, she told us, she couldn't play favorites. She said it was the Secret Services way or no way. Basically, I didn't want to stand outside waiting to get in and freeze my hiney off. Big Milestone here! Abby ran up the porch steps all by herself for the first time yesterday! YEAH! She really had to stretch her little legs, but she did it. It was so darling watching her! Sometimes she's so cute I could just eat her up!

| Tammy, Abby ran up the porch steps....Yea! How many weeks/months is she now? You said she started barking a little, too. I did not think Piccolo would ever bark. She was so quiet, when she was a puppy. Things have changed now. Ha! Your bass boat sounds like fun. Does your husband like to fish? You said you go out on the river. Is that the Ohio River? About the swimming picture. I'll start looking for it and post it sometime soon. You will be able to tell she is not having fun at all. She did not have a life jacket, but we stood right next to her. It was so hot that day in South Carolina and it was the only way I could figure out how to get her cool. I should have left her in the hotel, I guess. What hints did people on YT give you for keeping a dog cool on a boat?

| Tammy - Hopefully I am posting Piccolo's picture correctly. This is Piccolo being miserable at Lake Murray, near Columbia, South Carolina, last summer. Poor baby. At least we were able to cool her off, when we got off our friend's boat. Next time, she will have a doggie life jacket!

| Lisa and Piccolo-Love those swimming pictures !! She doesn't look too unhappy! She is adorable --she looks so teeny in that first picture with her little head bobbing up in the lake! I bet she was glad to get cooled off! Did she do the doggie crawl??!! It looks like you guys had a fun time!Yes it would be interesting Tammy to hear the cooling tips for the boat! Lisa I was going to ask you if you ever see Reds doggy outfits at any of the stores in Cincy? Did you guys get your daily walk in today? We were busy shuffling the Shih tzus for spa day today, so I don't feel like I accomplished a whole lot.

| Lisa K. - It was so beautiful this morning, but Piccolo and I did not walk because I was doing some volunteer work. By the time I came back, it was raining, so no dog walk today. So how was the beauty day for your furbabies? Do you have pictures? Also, I will look around for doggie Reds outfits and let you know if I find anything. Have a great evening!

Abby was 16 weeks old on Friday. Abby didn't bark until we brought Daisy home. Daisy has been a very good teacher. A little too good.Yes, Tony loves to fish. Both my Tony's like to fish. I'm not much on fishing, but I enjoy being out on the water. Yes, it's the Ohio River. I love the pictures of Piccolo! She doesn't look unhappy to me. She looks so cute and so tiny. Awww, what a sweetie. I should see if I can find the pictures of Misty and Chloe swimming. There's a picture of Chloe in a coffee table book called, DOGS 24/7. She was swimming in the picture in the book.

| Where is everyone? ![]() I was forced to clean today because nobody was here to talk to me. I did give Abby a bath, so I got some Yorkie business done.
