You can use dipirone or piroxicam... I don't like to use aspirin...

Over-The-Counter Pain Medications You Can Give To Your Pet

Buffered Aspirin - (For dogs only.) -Pain relief, anti-inflammatory. -1 tablet per 60 Lbs.- 2 times per day

Baby Aspirin- (For dogs only.)- Pain relief, anti-inflammatory.-1 tablet per 15 Lbs.-2 times per day

Never give to animals!!-Acetaminophen, Tylenol®, Ibuprofen, Motrin®, Nuprin®, Alieve®

Shes just laying on my lap, shes not moving that much. But I do keep making sure that shes breathing, bc she wasn't earlier.

We are suppose to go to a dog park tomorrow to meet another yt'er but I don't know if we will be able to. Guess it depends on how she is. So I gave her that asprin around 6'ish when should I give her another one>

Twice a day, but I would check with the vet first.

What did your vet say? if the baby wasnt breathing then he should of kept her there awhile and see what care he needed sence he is in pain. I would take her/him to see another vet.

We don't know the whole story, but I thought the same thing. How could the vet let her go without pain meds??

By the time I got her there, she was breathing almost normal and before I left she was breathing ok.

They are staying on call for me tonight so any problems they can go in, which is good. BC the vet I like is the one on call tonight.

They wanted to give her a steroid, which I didn't want to give bc of what happened to Aubrey.

I hope she's going to be alright! I feel so bad for you both; you must be beside yourself. I think I'll make sure that we've got a bottle of baby aspirin around here...it's a good reminder to make sure to have some of that stuff on hand, esp. when you're alone a lot and don't want to leave the dog and nobody else can get it for you! Prayers going to Dakota and you! Please keep us updated
