| To train a dog is a life long thing once they learn something you have to keep up with practice. I feel so bad for you and poor Coco. I wish I lived closer, I would help you with trainning. What ever trainning you do, you need to stay consistent. They need structure and direction from you. With out it they wont be well behaved. go to the library I am sure there are books that are there that can help you. Good luck. |

| I think you need to sit down with a trainer, and see what they can do for you. It would be ideal if he could bbe trained, and you don't have to rehome him.

| hi......I answered you earlier in the chihuahua section and was sad to now see you are having a situation w your Cocoa..........he is such an adorable boy and you can tell he has a lot of energy and wants to have fun....I don't know what your school situation is but when I lived out of town and went to college I roommed w 3 other girls in a house and we all had dogs....big ones....a collie, a mix collie/shephard, an irish setter and I had an afghan (of course, she was the craziest one!!).....we managed to go to classes, study, have a social life and spend lots of time w our dogs....if maybe you could think "outside of the box" somehow and look for a way that Cocoa would be an asset rather than a liability....maybe start a dog club or dog support group or something fun...or just find some other students that have dogs also....I have a bigger boy too and he is just SO much fun w his amazing energy and sweet spirit......maybe Cocoa could be your campus life of the party......it looks like from your picture you adore these two so I just thought I'd run it by you what's on my mind for whatever it's worth.....all the best to you! |
