| ![]() When researching Yorkies before I got one, for exercise requirements, it would always indicate that yorkies adapt to owners exercise routines. So I was wondering what that was for each of you. I take Diva (& now Foxxy-6mths) for 2 15-20 min. walks every day and in addition to that, take them out and play fetch with a ball or stick or just sit out for just plain ole fresh air. I live in a townhome community and I notice some of my neighbors who have even larger dogs, never take them for walks or I just never really see them that much...most of the homes do not have fenced in yards. So I wonder what they do for exercise. ![]() Also, Winter is coming....last winter it took Diva forever to want to go outside to go potty if snow was on the ground...any suggestions? I would try to clear out a space in the yard for her to go but it took forever. ![]() So what do your babies do for exercise? |

| ![]() Cody gets up at 7 am. around 8 or 9ish we go for 2 laps inside my apartment community.. then we just sit outside to enjoy the air and he can do whatever. then we come in and i relax . we go out for bathroom breaks and play afterwards.. at evening around 5 we go for another 2 or 3 laps around the apartment. and just playing with toys inside . im afraid of the same thing... when winter comes im going to be freezing my butt off because even now cody takes FOREVER to pee. he wants to go out and do things his way. i better put lots of layers of clothes on to keep me warm lol good luck |

| ![]() I go to school full time and work so it's hard for me to do a lot with Lily. Every morning we go for a nice 30min or so walk. I also try to take her out if I am home between classes just to run around the yard a little. She gets spoiled on weekends though ![]()

| ![]() I take Jake out every morning for about a half hour to an hour to play and run around. We both run around, and we play fetch. He does alot of playing in the house, we also play fetch there alot during the day. I take him back outside around 3:30 for about 20-30 min. before I go to work. Then, my husband takes him out later in the evening for a walk. Now I have Jackson too, but I haven't taken him outside yet since he's still a baby. But, when he's old enough I will take him out when I take Jake. They both get lots of exercise in the house during the day because they're always playing and chasing each other.

| ![]() I take Deiter and Cozmo out int the morning, around 7 or so, we go for 1/2 hour walk, then around around 10:00 we go for another little walk about 15 min. Then again around 12:00 then they eat and take a nap until 2:30 then we go walk again. Then at night 5:30 we go for a 1/2 hour walk. Then another long walk before dark. I know Deiter hates snow, rain. I don't know about Cozmo if he likes the snow. I do know he hates rain.

| ![]() We don't go for walks, i live in a semi rural area that is not safe for that (big dogs roam around their properties) So we pretty much throw the ball a million times a day ![]() |

| ![]() Yep, i do have a very good sized yard, almost an acre. We go out early in the morning and I toss the ball while I drink coffee ![]() I would turn that guy in with the GS. You just never know...and it is against the law to have a dog off leash and for good reason. |
