I wish I lived in a more rural area....Do you have a nice sized yard? If I did, I'd rather just play fetch in the yard several times day or just let them run wild!
I know what you mean about the big dogs....we always seem to run into this guy who jogs with his GERMAN SHEPHARD without a LEASH!!!!
and he's not a friendly German Shephard...when he's at home, you hear him barking at even the birds flying by above him..and of course there is a "beware of dog" sign on the fence! So WHY would you walk/jog or whatever with him without a leash?? Well, he says his GS is trained and will not move from his side unless he gives him the Command!!!....What???
so needless to say, I just scurry my girls along in an opposite direction as quickly as I can!!!!!!
