| Two Male Dogs living under one roof Can two male dogs live peacefully under one roof IF one has already established that this is his territory and the new one comes on Saturday? The first dogis 23 weeks old, the second is 16 will be 17 on Sat? Will this bring more stress for me or it will work out? Help |

| I've got 4 males and 1 female! You'll have your usual "tiff", but as stated before, be sure to neuter and all should be fine.

| If they are not neutered, you will have 2 very frustrated, full of testostrone males out to get each other. Not sure how it would work with one neutered and one not. I'm sure someone with more experience will jump in to answer that one.

The best way to introduce them is.....when you bring the new male in...make sure your puppy that now lives with you, out of the room or area....let the new dog wander, then bring in the new dog.....don't do this visa versa....your existing pup will be territorial and "may" become a little antagonistic...but, since he's still much of pup....I don't think you'll have any problems.

| Are you breeding the other dog? If not, there is really no reason to not neuter. There are lots of benefits of neutering: Cancer, Marking, Humping, Aggression towards other male dogs. IMO - it just doesn't make sense to have pet that are not neutered/spayed - unless you are a breeder. |

Yes, I am not a breeder but the breeder reserved the right to breed him and also encouraged me to show him. So far he is prefect at nearing 6 months, teeth are coming in nicely bite is still perfect, patella and stifel are all in prefect condition, size is prefect, coat etc so I am just waiting to see maybe another three months. I dont intend to ever breed as a breeder but would like to show him off just once or twice for grins and his little testies are so cute right now I just didnt want to chop them off just yet

Oh dear, so I was taking my puppy to meet this dog and play for an hour or so, then head back home with both of them. that was my original plan as to not shock my current possessive puppy. What is the best to do, do it your way or leave him home? Thing is it will be a 12 hour drive to go and come and two hours there so it means leaving my baby alone for 14 hours

But dont all males regardless of species do this LMAO . I am hoping that neutering the Yorkie might help. Dont know how this one will react. He is a mommy's little darling now so he might be very jealous

| LOL! I would say that, yes, most do! However, I've seen more of the girls throw fits than the boys |

| I am only hoping they dont turn out gay . In dog school this one tends to sniff at the male dog's butt and I dont know why he does this, but I will have to keep a close on on them prolly |

If there is an unaltered female around, they will fight like cats and dogs over her. i am going thru this right now. i have two stud. One of my females is fastened up in the crate in heat and ready to breed right now. The larger one, Renny, is fighting my little Ceeby if he even gets close to the crate. i am almost to the point of selling him andd both of Ceeby'ss girls that I bought Renny to breed to and looking for a couple of unrelated girls somewhere. it has been hell week here and if he hurts Ceeby, he is outta here. Guaranteed. i am fed up with breaking up fights. when no one is in heat and crated, they get along great.
