I've had no problem with my intact males....with the exception that they lose their brains when there is a female in Season...

The best way to introduce them is.....when you bring the new male in...make sure your puppy that now lives with you, out of the room or area....let the new dog wander, then bring in the new dog.....don't do this visa versa....your existing pup will be territorial and "may" become a little antagonistic...but, since he's still much of pup....I don't think you'll have any problems.
