She still has some black though but shes mostly blonde on her head.

OH this Mia is adorable!! I love love LOVE my Jeanie, but I absolutely love this little sweetheart. She's so adorable and small and blonde!

Sophia, my Blonde girl; she and Capone had a baby that was born breech and didn't survive. It was Sophie's first. I was afraid she was too small for breeding but I figured because Capone was small too she'd be okay. My vet said she'd be fine but I came home one day and the pup from the waste down was hanging from little Sophia! She'd gone into labor while I was in school! The pup was stuck and wold't budge, I didn't know what to do. I waited until she had a contraction and hten I pulled gently and massaged her belly to help her but still the pup was stuck. I even tried KY Jelly with warm towels to relax her muscles and nothing work. Finally I called my partner whom I breed with and she rushed over and was able to turn the pup and dislodge his shoulders and it finaly came out! It was horrrible I thought I was going to lose my Sophia. But she was fine and recovered very well. It's funny though, the days that followed it was almost as if she knew she was missing her baby. She'd sit in her pin and scratch and nest around and then lay down to sleep. I'm glad she's okay.

Hello all! Everyone's blondies are sooo cute!! I have read that everyone on this forum knows alot about yorkies. So, my question is this: Is my Tofu, a full yorkie? I adopted him about 5 months ago and he's dirty blonde colored. Is he considered a Blonde?

It's hard to tell. I have seen some mixes that look so much like one breed most people would never guess they weren't purebred.
I think Tofu looks like the other blonde yorkies but also think he looks a little like some of the Morkies I've seen (his face and because how light he is at that age).
Whatever he is, he is so cute!!

Hi this is Trinity she's my blonde baby she use to be allot darker

she just keep getting lighter and lighter.I think its so hard to tell when they are young what color they will be.She has 4 babies 6 weeks old and people ask which ones will be the lighter color and I just can't tell.Is anyone out there know how to till.

I was going to guess that, too. It looks like Tofu might have Maltese in him. Did you go to his breeder's house? Did she have other dogs besides Yorkies? Is he registered with one of the the "alternative" registries instead of the AKC?

Purebred or not, he sure is a cutie!

No, no papers on him. I got him from another family that was not able to keep him. So you all think that he's mixed with maltese? I never thought of that. Thanks for you input!

I'm not an expert but he looks 100% yorkie to me. I've already told you in the other thread but he is so freaking cute!
