| If you want to critisize---- Please do it in a PM I am really tired of seeing all of the ---------------- going on. This really does not help the new members. Keep the critisizm private. But I like seeing advise to newbies without scoulding them for a mishap. I like this board because it does educate and we have a lot of experience to offer new people. Basically, if you don't have anything nice to say PM it. otherwise it would be nice to educate all of us. No one ever stops learning and I am sure we can all learn from each other.

| Me, too. I'm new to this, but think the posted rules say we can't attack other members. What I've seen this past week sure wasn't kind. Yorkies have strong personalities and so do many of their owners. Let's just show some respect and restraint. |

| I took too long to edit. I have a friend that is adopting one of my pups and she is a new member here. She did happen to find this site and I advised her to do a lot of reading and if she post to be sure to have a thick skin about it because there are people on here that are very critical. I have not referred other adoptive parents to this site because of all of the critisizm that goes on here. I am sure that If these were PMd and just the helpful suggestions posted that this would be something that I would recommend to others. In the last month things have really gotten out of control. We do have a lot of new members and this should be rewarded. Please just help them and don't put them down for something that has already passed. I don't post alot just because of all of this. But if I have something helpful to suggest from experience I will. Otherwise, I go on and read the next post. I hope you will all do the same.

| I've said it before and I'll say it again. This board and its members are VERY mild compared to others. If you think people are rude, you must not visit any other forums or any online venues for that matter. |

| I haven't been seeing any heated threads going on lately. honestly i get tired of these types of threads too saying that everyone is so critical. I think everyone on here is almost always nice. Sometimes they may not say what you want to hear but it needs to be said, and most say it in a nice, educational way. This is the nicest pet forum I have ever been on

I totally agree. My other forums are nasty. I also tend to believe that threads like this do not accomplish anything. Sorry just my opinion.

| oh yes it is wonderful, I have learned so much in the last few months since I have joined. There are some heated threads but there are so many more positive than there are negative. There are a lot of kind and generous souls on here and I love it! |

| Everyone has been so nice here. If I had any complaint it would be the very sad stories of people losing their beloved pets...I just can't take it. I end up in tears and fearful of everything that could go wrong with my baby girl. I have more compassion for animals than some humans. Crazy, huh? |

| I love it here. I find this site to be informative, supportitive, educational, and often humorous. I feel I have made friends here; and even good friends sometimes disagree; so If someone is talking mean, just to be mean, I just read the next post. Most of the people here are either looking for help, or willing to give help. So if you are a newcomer, welcome in. We are a diverse group, but over all we are all lovers of the yorkie breed, and those that are owned by them.

Bottom line is, I've seen people here get irritated, and yes there is some bickering here and there - but being on other sites, and reading some of these absolutely AWFUL things that people are saying - YT is EXTREMELY MILD as you said. I mean it TRULY is. I think the moderators here do a WONDERFUL job at keeping an eye on things and removing the stuff that shouldn't be here. If only other mods could take lessons from the wonderful ones that we have here at YT, maybe other sites wouldn't be SO bad!

| OK, I admit that I am waaaaaaay to critical especially when it comes to not breeding to the AKC standard. I just get sooooooo fired up and just let it out. Most of the people on here are very helpful and educational. So, I have been reining myself in a little and trying not to be so impatient. Actually some of the heated debates are the most educational. Lynn |
