|  I agree....let's keep the peace....and Yorkist, I understand your view and I'm glad you have such wonderful control!  I'm glad you also recognize that it is your view, heated debates can be great, but it's when it becomes personal and we start bashing others that it becomes nasty.

| I can never figure out why these threads are started. I am shocked that you think this is such a mean board that you will not refer yorkie owners to it. It is extremely EXTREMELY rare to see personal attacks. It is not an awful thing that people disagree with each other occasionally. That is how all of us learn. It is sort of funny when one person decides to start a thread to tell the entire forum how to act.

| I don't post a lot on this forum, but I do come here daily and read most of the threads. I have been on MANY forums (well over a dozen) and I would have to say this is by far the nicest. |

| When I first decided I wanted a yorkie I knew nothing about them, I was an ill-informed, ignorant dog owner. How was I supposed to know?? I needed to learn somewhere and I really did not need people jumping on me telling how awful I was...it is all in the tone and wording. Ethics in the dog world are not widely understood or known. It is hard sometimes to see the big picture. I think the big thing is to educate one person at a time.

| i know i have made a couple of comments that were eather taken the wrong way or not very nice and am sorry for it , i do think some people are to critical and it does hurt others feelings. we are all here because we love our dogs so much and when you feel like your dog our your self arent measuring up to others its hurtful. for the most part i am only replying to new people and about nice things or not posting at all. this is a great place to come to and meet other yorkie lovers and i am thankful for that

| I am new too and have found this site EXTREMELY helpful and VERY, VERY friendly! Most of the criticism I have seen has been in a respectful way and meant to educate the person, not personally attack them. I'm not on any other boards, so I can't speak to that, but I think YT is great!

| Maybe I live in a bubble and see things through rose coloured glasses, but I think ..... If I had a sick or lost Yorkie, if my Yorkie or any member of my family or a friend died ( God forbid) in fact if anything major (good or bad) happened THIS IS THE PLACE I WOULD COME.
