| I live in Hawaii so prices are very steep.Baby was $1500 which we thought was huge at the time. Now,everybody thinks that was a great deal. Then prices went up and we got Lady for $2300.I got Lexus from Australia, with shipping and my husband had to fly to Honolulu to pick her up,everything came out to about $2300. If we had to do it over again,I would do it in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't know how much my husband got Pickles because she was a gift from him... Although I was tearing my hair out to get the money back at first because Pickles had all sorts of health problems and the vet couldn't even assure me if she was going to be a healthy puppy. But thank God she's well now and I just fell inlove with her. I did report the breeder to the SPCA. My sister however, got her yorkie from a petshop in California. They paid $1700. His name is Kobe

We paid $650 for Riley. His original price was about $1500, but the woman lowered the price for us because we were not registering him or breeding him. We paid about $700 for TJ. TJ was originially posted in the paper at $750, but after no one purchased him or his little brother after a week, the breeder lowered the price and posted the ad again.

I paid $500 for Baby but it was only because she had a hernia that needed to be repaired. The rest of the females in her litter were either 750 or 800 can't remember. But it was the best purchase of my lifetime!

Bless all of you who got your babies from shelters. When I get inquiries I suggest rescues and give the people as many sites as I have for info and rescues. My prices are high and I pay more for my babies when I buy a perspective breeder. I know I can only keep so many as pets so when I have one that is not going to be used for breeding, I place it in a pet home for a much reduced price. Usually, the cost of altering and dentals. Everything is done when they leave. AND, I do enough interviews that I know they are going to continue to be spoiled as much as they already are..
