| wow, I wish I could find a yorkie for $400. The lowest I was able to find when search for my baby was $1,200. My baby was $1,400 and worth every single dime!!!! I know of a breeder who's puppies are all so adorable but at $3,000 a pup it was a bit too much.

| Stewie was $475 with AKC papers, all shots except Rabies, deworming, dew claws removed, well socialized and had a bit of pee pad training under his belt (though he regressed a week after I brought him home). Can't ask for a better deal than that

| Bandit was $2400, on sale for $1750. We later found out he came from a puppy mill, so I guess everyone gets their cut. After Bandit died we started talking to breeders and found most charging around $1500. I finally found Tucker through a woman who bred him out of her home and he was $850. Funny thing is 6 months ago I would have thought $850 was an exorbanant (no idea how to spell it, but you get the idea) amount to pay for a puppy, but compared to Bandit he was a bargin! And now that we have him he's priceless!

| Simon came to me, all free. I was backing out of my garage one day and saw this little lump on my doorstep, clearly sniffing nose to nose with my other rescue dog. I told my ex-husband... "Man, if it's still there when we get back from the AM PM I am SO letting him in." Love at first sight with Simon and Delilah, I opened the door and he shot onto my couch like a dart and wiggled his little butt as if to say it's about TIME! His fur was full of matts and burs, and he was pretty emaciated. I posted fliers and a lost and found ad that was never answered, although secretly I would have cried if someone responded to take him away. I had always thought they were pretty cute and I fell head over heels in love when he did that first little curious tilt of the head we all know they do. I was very fortunate to get him, although it really seemed like he picked us. Jeni |

| I paid $900 for my little boy, he was 4 mos old when I got him, the younger Yorkies were like $1500. I think it depends on what part of the country you live in too...it seems to be pricier in the urban areas!

| I paid $800 for Maxi. The seller was asking $1200, but she wasn't around when I went to go look at her puppies and her boyfriend told me that I could have Maxi for $800, who was the last one left. The next day when I came back to pay them in CASH, she said that I should pay her $1200 and that if I pay $800 then she wouldn't give me any advice on how to take care of the puppy. Talk about some BS!! She was all talk on how these puppies are her family and that I would be paying for her "expertise knowledge" She was soooooo dumb. She told me that I would not get the health guarantee for 1 year b/c I would not pay. Maxi was coughing A LOT when I first met her. Then when I took her to the vet, I found out that she has 2 HERNIAS that needed to be removed . The surgery would cost me about $500, but can't be performed until her cough healed. She is doing well now and we will go into surgery in a few weeks. Maxi came with ACA papers.
