| I paid $500 for my male, but maybe he was cheaper cause he has no AKC papers. His momma was a 8 pound Yorkie, so she was not AKC registered. I think it's OK he has no papers, because I was not looking to breed, only for a companion dog. I am a little worried about the no paper thing tho, and kinda wish I had put more thought into it. The puppy is great, but it's the breeder that has me a little concerned about a few things....anyways....

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Magic was a gift from my aunt...she normal charges around $800 - $900...and Sailor was $700 from a local breeder, which is on the low end in the Dallas area!!! But like we tell people we meet they are worth every penny and really more....

| We paid $1200 for Kodah. She is small - two pounds at 5 months. I think the average rate for Yorkies in our OKC paper is about $750 - $900. |

YT Addict | I read in a yorkie book in petsmart that $1400 was the going price for show dogs. I charged $700 for my males and $750 for my females . I've only sold one litter of pups. Sugar had two girls and a boy. Took longer to sale my male and he was georgeous and it was Christmas time. The Pet Stores are a rip off and you never know what you are buying. They buy from puppy mills and those places are cruel.I raise all my doggies in the house and they are kept clean and spoiled rotten. They are the first to get my attention when i wake up and the last thing before i go to bed. I stay at home all the time and love taking care of my babies. |

| And I thought I got a good deal! I spent $850. Stomper is HUGE (was suppose to be 8 pds and is 11 pds at 7 months) and is only ACA'd. If I would have gotten a smaller yorkie that was AKC, it was no less than $1500. I had to talk my husband into paying $850!!! He thought I was crazy...

| Olivia would have been $1,500, but I only had to pay $1,300. I wish I could have found a cheaper yorkie, but there weren't any breeders locally that I felt comfortable with. She's worth every penny, though! |
