Its killing me-- how do you pronounce Biewer? I was born in Germany so I know how to say it in German, but I can't wrap my mind around the American pronunciation...

In German you pronounce a w with a v sound, so that makes sense, but the ie gets me mixed up.

I was told bee va, but we have Americanized it to Bee ver / Bee Var. I usually tell people they are Beevers and of course they think of the tree chewing animals.

LOL-- yes in German it is Bee va, although depending on where you are there could be an emphasis on the r so Bee var isn't that far off.

It kills me because during the time when Biewers where conceived, my Omi and I went to buy a Yorkie from a breeder in Wiesbaden. Does anyone know where in Germany the Biewers were located?
