				   | Sawyer is a year old, and he is totaly housetrained. I am crazy about him. Little boys seem to be so loving, and they attatch to Mommy so tightly. Drtesing girls can be fun, but there are great fashions for the guys too. Don't forget a female dog is called a bitch for a reason LOL!! No offense to female lovers out there, I just read that somewhere and thought it was funny.

				   | My boy has been pad trained and has never ever peed of pad, never marked, matter of fact he is trained so well on pad , he holds it sometimes to poop after we come in from a walk and goes on his pad, even though he sees my female pooping outside My Female on the other hand sometimes cant hold it at night, and i cant get her to go on a pad. She is very sneaky about it My boy was neuterd a little before 6 mo.

				   | I have a boy! It took us a lot of patience and A LOT of accidents... He used to mark on the couch and the walls and the blinds (that hang down to the floor for the sliding door). He doesn't do it anymore. I mean he has accidents when we leave him at home since we're gone for like 9 hours during the day. He does mark when we are out... he would pee over another dog's pee when were at the dog park... he just doesnt do it at home... But it takes a lot of patience... It wasn't easy..

| Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I have a boy Silky terrier who is intact (he is a show dog) and he does not mark in the house, now outside he does all the time. But in the house he knows that marking is not tolerated at all. We now have another male adult Silky who does mark sometimes and we just belly band him when we are gones or aren't watching him. As long as you correct them and don't let them get away with it, you can teach them not to mark in the house, as long as there is not girls in season around!! LOL I also have a little girl yorkie and she marks sometimes, inside and outside the house. If she doesn't like something she will mark it or if another dog comes around she will mark...it is something we are working on with her. But girls do mark just like the males do. I personally pefer boys as they are so much sweeter and love to cuddle...both boys at my house LOVE to sit in your lap and gets lots of love!!

| YT Addict | I have a boy and he is trained to go outside, however, since I am going to law school soon I'm going to have to train him to go onto the pads as well. But he only marks when he is outside. Inside, I am with him all day, and only pees and poops outside. Get a boy, they are so fun! I got him at 12 weeks, and neutered him at 7 months of age.

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Bengi is housebroken. He was neutered at 6 months of age and he never marked inside mine or any other house. I never had to get a belly band at all. He doesn't mark much outside either, maybe just a few times, he's not really into that ![]() I think that if you neuter him before he matures sexually there are a lot more chances of him not marking at all |

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | What I heard here on YT is that sometimes it's better to get a boy if you already have a girl, because girls do compete. I'm sure not everybody had an issue like this, but I know I heard it before |

				   | Cody is 7 months. He does real good... just once in a while if i can't get him out in time then he will have a pee accident .. But for the majority he is really good! Good Luck with your decision! |

He just knows ! Awsome Personality ! Both are fixed ! When Apollo get exited, like when we getting ready to go somewhere he try's to hump her, all i have to tell him No and he stops Only happen a few times, but she will let him know and set him straight But they have never got in to a brawl ! I would not have it any other way Good luck with whatever you choose !

				   | Mojo has never marked (hiked his leg) in the house. He was trained on pee-pads and outside. We do have a belly band (from Cindy), but he has never worn it at home. He will occassionally do an excitement tinkle and once or twice in his 4 years, have we found a small puddle of pee on the floor when we have awoken in the morning. Again, that has only been very few and very far in between and due to the lack on my response time for getting out of bed and letting him have his morning walk around the yard. (So much of it is on us, as parents you know). Mojo is neutered and he will sometimes hike his leg in another persons house, but nothing comes out. We always carry his belly band though, but have never used it.
