| I've tallied it all up and it was very close. LA won by 1 vote. So unless more votes come in, LA is the winner so far. Bella Bear you can PM me and we can work together on it if you still want to help plan.

| So excited As I am a single lady, after raising four kids by myself, my funds are limited, so I am thrilled that LA is ahead. We have so many places that we can take the pups, there is the dog beach in Huntington Beach, also the dog zone in Long Beach, lots of places to go. I will go online and look up more places, I know that OC has a "OC Dog Weekly" paper, once we settle on a date, I will see what the cost is to place an announcement for other yorkie folks, if you guys want. |

| Is september still warm out there? I think September would be a great time. Maybe like September 17th. It's a saturday. I think it's going to be a long summer this year but S. Cali is always pretty warm. If anyone else has date suggestions, please post.

| Summer is just perfect September is a wonderful month is SoCal. it is absolutely warm and sunny, also most of the hotels rates decline after the first week in September. A few years ago, I went to Cambria (Central Coatst) the week of September 17th and my hotel was 1/3 of the high season rates. I can check into some hotels that allow pets if anyone wants. And find out lots of places that we can take our pups. |

| There are three off leash gated dog parks with an exclusive small dogs only part for the parks that I know of off hand. It'd be great if it is in LA.

| Ok with the new votes just in, SF is the winner. I will be spending the next week or so researching and finding some good places. There's a beach setting out here that a friend of mine says is great and dogs are def. allowed on. It's called Chrissy Field, it's by Golden Gate Bridge, with a lovely view. So I will look into that, and go get a book on great parks/beaches for dogs. I will keep you all posted on the progress and if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. It looks as though I tallied up about 13 people for SF. September is a great month for SF with wonderful weather.
