I just saw this thread and I am in awe of this and it all just warms my heart. Denise pls. pm me ( no hurry ) when you can put that little doll down or maybe you can learn the art of holding her doing everything lol You must be in heaven. I would like Lewis's address when you get it. There really are lots of nice people in this world and I am so glad Maddie got to spend time with one of the nicest. What a gift this thread is More joyous news - so glad to hear that Lewis will take Justus. May he come to love her as much or even more, because he knows she's his!! Truly justice is playing out here - Denise you have the right frame of mind about this stinker getting what's due him -- but a part of me would just love him to know that everyone knows he's a rat & Maddie is back where she belongs. We do reap what we sow. He's going to be in deep. The rest of us need to learn what a difference it can make to help someone else -- oh, this is yt - you all already know this :D As far as ideas for what to get Lewis, I was thinking a grocery card/gift certificate. Because he fed Maddie for months, so lots feed him - we all have to eat & most groceries carry so much more than food. But now knowing that he will have Justus we need a gift card to a pet friendly store or we need to put together a care box for him & Justus -- she will need some fun toys and a really good cc hair brush, some shampoo, quality dog food, a bed, maybe some clothes at least some bows, etc --- just an idea |

I can't believe I missed this! AWESOME NEWS! I just got home from a two day business trip! I can't believe the news-it's so wonderful to hear Maddie is home!!! Denise, this is so wonderful for you and your family, and for Maddie too! Thank you for posting about your dream and about this awesome miracle of a reunion! Yorkiesmiles actually called me when I was enroute to the airport in Indiana, and told me the news! I had my whole van full of coworkers crying and cheering after I told them the story. Everyone is so happy, tearful, and touched that Maddie is now home where she belongs, with the help of a good hearted old man. I love stories like this-it helps us all have hope during even the roughest of times! |
Im so glad to hear that Lewis will take Justus. What a perfect name for her and for this story. Im sure with time his heart will heal with the pain that he too has now lost Maddie But a different pain because she is still alive and the comfort of knowing she is now home. I hope that Justis and Lewis become so much in love that he feels no more sadness . and I hope she warms his heart and bed like Maddie did. I am so Happy that Maddie is home, I think about this story all day long. Leaving that guy alone and letting God take care of it is the best way. God wants noone to hate. and Im sure as mad and as sad as he has made everyone its best to just forget about him. To the member that is giving Justus to Lewis what a wonderful person you are. This is so sweet to hand him one of your babys to love. are a wonderful person you are. |
