oh, Denise, we all needed to be with you when she was gone and now we just want to share your joy. My Hubby just called from work and wanted to know If I read anything new about Maddie. I thought that he was calling to see if I'd heard anything about our daughter's surgery this am. Tears of joy. Thanks for all of the updates and the pictures, she might have a fab short cut but she still has those beautiful eyes.

Maddie is so happy to be home

Jill contacted me this morning and wanted to give the guy one of her babies, Justis. She is going to retire her from breeding and thought she would be wonderful for the man, since she is so kind hearted and wonderful. She just wanted to give her to the man (lewis is his name) I was soooo excited. I called him with the wonderful news, and he said, thanks so much, but he just couldn't Maddie was so special to him and he didnt know if he'd ever feel the same about another dog. He's going to think about it, but he doubts it.

It was sooo wonderful and caring of JIll to offer this. We figured an older yorkie would be better since he is an older gentleman. I told him we just wanted to find a way to repay him beside what I had already given him.

He said Maddie being home with her family was payment enough. We are going to go see him tomorrow

I'm in AWE Denise, I just can not believe this, this is just the most amazing story I have ever heard of!

So, what name was Lewis calling Maddie? Are you still going to get another pup from Jill someday?

Lewis was calling her Paris!

I wondered the same thing. I can imagine her looking at him funny when he called her Paris.:D

OMG what an amazing story!!! Very touching. Thank goodness for that guy. Denise must be so happy. Thank god it came to her in a dream. This is so amazing. Hopefully this mends her heart and her family's heart.

WOW I thought I was going crazy when I saw Connie's thread title. How wonderful and that gentleman deserves to know what a wonderful thing he did. Maddie looks so cute

I haven't been able to get on for awhile so I'm just reading this now! OMG I'm sooooo happy for you that you got maddie back!!! WOOOO HOOOO GOD works in mysterious ways doesn't he?! This is so truly amazing! Maddie has been missing since June, right? I'm sorry, I almost can't keep up with all of these stories sometimes. I can only imagine what you went through emotionally when you were told that she was dead. It's spooky how these dreams can lead you to what you're seeking. I am SO happy that you've been reunited with Maddie. That man deserves a sainthood! ;)

This is the most astonishing and heartwarming story I have heard ...ever.
I am very new to YT and was not familiar with the history of this thread, so I needed to go back and read everything from the beginning.
So here I have been all morning ...reading and crying such huge tears of Joy. What a wonderful, wonderful way to begin the day!

I wasn't on the computer last night and was gone until late this morning. I checked my email and there was an message from Lynne saying she was happy Maddie was home...and I thought WHAT?????????????

I am just so thrilled for you, I'm just shaking!!! I feel like I need to run or do something with all this excited energy!!!

Oh my! I absolutely bawled my eyes out when I read this thread. This is the greatest news ever!

Lewis is an awesome man! He definately deserves some recognition. Maybe we can come together on Yorkietalk and give him a plague? I don't want to sound corny but I think that would be great!

Thank God that Maddie is in wonderful shape. I love her cut! I think she looks great! :p

Wow.......this is the most amazing story I have heard in a long long time. I still cant believe that Maddie is back home. I guess it goes to show we should all pay a little more attention to what our dreams are trying to say to us. What a way to start the day..............I would like to think the guy that sais he saw Maddie get ran over actually did see that happen and just thought is must have been Maddie and that he didnt do it for other reasons but it doesnt matter because Maddie is home and that is all that counts.:cheer: :yay_jump:

He sounds like such a nice man, Denise. Maybe he felt Maddie was a gift from G-d and another pup would not be the same ....

Swinging by now and again to let him see Maddie might ...be the best thing you can do for him. He can be a surrogate "g'pa"

I just had to post again...it's so wonderful how when something so awesome happens to another person yet it gives so many other people so much joy in the process....

I myself have been feeling so happy since I've read that Maddie is back.....the ripple effect this is having is to wonderful!!!

OMG Denise, I just cried and cried reading this! This is just the sweetest, most touching story EVER. Lewis is such a GREAT man - I really wish he would take Justis, just so she could keep him company. You know he would be SO good to her. But I understand him being scared to because he just doesn't know if he could love another like he loved little Maddie :( Man - I really want to send him something! I am going to PM you for his address :)

And by the way....MAN - those pictures you posted of Maddie....I CRIED just looking at them. Especially that 2nd one - even though I felt deep down that Maddie was still alive, I swear I never thought I was going to see new pictures of that precious little face of hers ever again :cry: THOSE EYES of hers.....they are just beautiful. I would NEVER be able to mistake Maddie's eyes - one look at them and I KNOW it's her :) God I am SO glad she's home!!!!!!!!!!

I am pretty new here, but I had read about Maddie and Macy.
I have to say this story is something out of a movie! God is so good.
It is such a joy to know that there are still such good hearted people in this world. I will help in any way that I can to do something for Lewis.

Just a little note--those eyes--are her mama's eyes. Daisy, Maisy, Ava and Goliath (who are all siblings) all have the same big eyes that just melt you!!
