Of course I didnt know it at the time, but about 1/2 hr later, while i was still there post...i get a call from the and he said...are u the one looking for a yorkie and i said yes....he said i've got your baby...of course by this time, i've dropped to the ground bawling like a very big baby...i said are you sure its her and he said, yes she i found her with that same barrette in her hair as the pic. omg you guys....he told me which apt he was at and i went speeding over there. He was standing outside with my baby in his arms. She looks soooooooooooo different, he just had her shaved down 4 days ago. He said it was just too hard to keep her hair up. OMG... but there was that same adorable face. I said Maddie its Momma and she went crazy, was licking all over my face giving me kisses. I" was in tears, the guy was almost in tears.

I could kick the kids butt who told me my baby was dead. He's lucky he lives somewhere in Illinois. Not sure what really happened. to my guess he we think he stole her from the yard and gave her to someone or sold her to someone and then told me his friend ran over her to make me stop looking. the gentleman who had maddie didnt get her until 2weeks after the date she was missing. he found her wondering around the complex. He didnt get the paper and had posted stuff around the complex. He said he knew she was someones pet cause she was in excellent condition.


she left me weighing 3.5lbs and came home weighing 4.8 lol of course he was feeding her table stuff too. he took excellent care of her and i praise God that he was there for her. omg you guys as excited as I am for myself and my family, I feel terrible for him. He lived alone and she was his baby. He called her Paris. She slept with him, etc. He walked her 3 times a day. his baby was his life. He didnt have to do what he did. He is a wonderful caring man. I gave his a reward, but will never be able to repay him enough. He called me tonight to check on her and said he cried so hard after I left, but knows she is back with her family. I told him he could be her step daddy and when we go on vacation, etc he can watch her and he was thrilled. I told him I'll bring her by to visit too. My girls and I have made some card and stuff and going back to see him in a few days. I'd like for other people to send him cards to and tell him how wonderful he is. pm if you want to send him a card. i will have to get all of his address and let you know.

omg this feels like a dream. Only God could have brought us back together, that dream was a message from God. It was so wild and right down to the point when i did find her she was really really short. AMAZING. She was even found in the back corner of the complex, just like my dream. I've on my daughters lap top and dont know how to resize pics. I send some pics to Connie to post. Remind you she looks so different. Its sad cause we arent in the same house we was when she was here. So its all so different for her. I'm sure she is so confused. She did her usual sit and spin for a cherrio and even post for the pics for a cherrio. Some things never change. lol

I can tell you, my smiles is the biggest one you've ever seen. Lauryn totally freaked out...At first she was like awww who's yorkie...lol then i said look closely at her face and she said...no mom...is it..maddie. i said yes, and she too fell to the floor in disbelieve and tears rolling, when i let Maddie down she ran over and gave lauryn a ton of kisses. Lexi said awww look at the doggie. I said Lexi its Maddie I found her. She said no she playing with jesus. I told her no, its her. she's only 3 but she knew after i said it it was good old maddie. maddie wont leave my side and just wants to be held alot. of course, i've having trouble letting her down. lol and yes, she'll be sleeping in our bed...that is if i can sleep.

my heart just knew having macy wasnt right. now i have my baby back. never in a million years did i ever think anything like this could ever happen, God has truely touch my family more than I could ever ask for. Maddie is such a blessing and I have my blessing back.

I just keep looking at her...like omg its you. my hubby said omg maddie we love u so much even if you do look homely...lol (and she does) but we dont care. hair will grow back. I HAVE MY MADDIE BACK........YEAH YEAH YEAH

I'm going to write a story for the newspaper and send it to the editor. There are still Good people in this world and tell my story. Hopefully they will publish it.

i'll be posting tons of pics tomorrow, but right now i just want to hold my baby tight. i wonder if yorkies can survive if they never touch the ground...lol lol lol

omg that little burger will never get in trouble again...lol lol

Yep...I think we should put our heads together on how to get that dear man a puppy! It is so sweet how excited he got when Denise told him he could babysit Maddie when they went out of town. I do believe, not only did Denise get precious Maddie back, but she also got a new family member, being that dear, dear man who will now be forever in their lives!

He's got so many people thinking of him tonight and praying for him! He has no idea how he's loved by so many that have never even met him!

Denise, I think you should write to the national news programs...I bet they would consider this story. it is an amazing story of love, heartbreak, dedication, sadness, lies, truth, and unimaginable kindness by that man that returned her to you. So many emotions...so many prayers...so many crazy things. Hey...YT may get some national attention as well ;) I really think it is worth a shot. It may give other dog owners out there some hope. and some insight. and help people to realize that dreams do come true!!! And also remind vets to SCAN FOR CHIPS...with every new patient!!!!!!!
