This have nothing to do with your statement above but wanted to say... Man you have been researchiing and if you ever decide to breed let me know because I would love to get a pup that was created from your knowledge (even if it's 10yrs down the road:D )

I'm not sure if maybe you're just looking for an argument, or what, but I am sure that you completely missed my point. Don't think I ever singled your dog or anyone elses out and claimed they were ruining the breed, but if you think that the money hungry breeders and millers breeding any two dogs to spit out litters and claim, "Oh, they are just pet quality" are doing Yorkies any favors, well....I just don't know what to tell you.... THAT was what I meant by ill bred, not your Livi, who is adorable, BTW.

I think Livi is adorable! I think of Biewers differently than I think of other faulted colors, because they are being developed into their own breed. They're pretty dogs, and I'd love to see them recognized as their own breed in the AKC one day.

Same here...I really hope to have one in the future. I have 'met' some Biewers and they really capture your heart!
When I said 'ill bred' I meant the millers churning them out resulting in the posts of "is my dog really a Yorkie?" and "Why is my dog 15 pounds when the breeder promised me 3?" :(

He is to young. Yes, he is only three months. I love him and do not care how he turns out. I also have two other dogs a black lab and a golden retriever. I know they are standard. They are what I am referring to.

HaHa...thanks but I doubt I'll get into showing dogs. If I ever do show, it will most likely be Himalayan cats...cats seem to be easier to learn and the show breeders are a little easier to work with. But who knows...if I ever have time to attend more shows and meet more show breeders, I might just get interested in showing yorkies.

Nope,no arguements here....that's the type of person that I am. Just addressing what you said about people that do not breed to the standard and your comment of how they are ruining the breed. My Livi is not a Biewer,she's 100% Yorkshire Terrier and not standard by YTCA....which would put her in the category that you described as,"ruining the breed". This is the only reason that I addressed this.

By the way,thanks....I of course think she is pretty dog-gone cute.

Ok, I got ya. Boy, talk about a size difference. And I bet Winston is (or will) be the boss dog and keep them in line when it's all said and done. :p

It was the one a guy started about breeding his dog that was 8-10 pounds I think he did get it from a store. I brought up how all my dogs are from a store and you did say you have never seen quality dogs from there. That is mostly true about stores but I have awesome dogs and I may have just taken that post to personal.
